@gracejoy54994 ай бұрын
@@carolinaasenciocolon5484 Well it must be admitted that the designation “son of David” could be used to refer to anyone in the line of David. Also, It is also puzzling why Solomon would hide behind a pseudonym? Secondly - The claim in Ecclesiastes 1:16 and 2:9 that he surpassed all who were before him in Jerusalem would mean little if his father were his only predecessor. And the language of the book is different than Solomon’s other writings. In conclusion, it’s not impossible that Solomon was Qoheleth (Hebrew word for Preacher/assembler) but evidence to the contrary is sufficient to make it doubtful. Since Scripture is silent on the matter, we cannot be confident in identifying Qoheleth.

You must believe in Christ alone for eternal life and forgiveness of sin. "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand...For I delivered to you first of all that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas and by the twelve." (1 Corinthians 15:1,3-4) "For the message of the cross is follishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: 'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.' (1 Corinthians 1:18-19). "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgement, but has passed from death into life." (John 8:24). "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, 'Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.' There was no biblical command against it. In fact, God gives instruction for a man that has multiple wives (Exodus 21:10 KJV, Deuteronomy 21:15 KJV). He warned against choosing wives from other tribes, because those women (idol worshipers) would turn their hearts from God. God gave David his masters house and master's wives into his bosom (2nd Samuel 12:8 KJV). Because of what David did, God took his wives and gave them to his neighbor (one man and multiple wives), to sleep with in the sight of the sun (2nd Samuel 12:11 KJV). Even when Paul spoke on having one spouse he said, I speak this by permission and not of commandment (1st Corinthians 7:6 KJV). The only scriptures that expressly says for a man to only have one wife, is concerning someone desiring the office of a bishop (elder/pastor). 1st Timothy 3:1-2 KJV In Deuteronomy 17:17, when it speaks on multiplying wives, you must read the entire passage. It starts off in vs.15 speaking about God choosing a king for the people. It says not to multiply horses to himself, either. It's not saying they can only have one horse. In vs16 God is clearly speaking about not returning to Egypt. Why? Because that is the land of idol worshipers. The only way multiple wives can turn the man of God's heart away from God, is if she doesn't have the heart of God... not because there are multiple wives. One woman, not having God's heart, can turn the man from God. Solomon's disobedience wasn't having multiple wives, but where he chose them. They were from other tribes, not having the heart of God. This is how they turned his heart.

Despite his wisdom, he indulged in practices that let him astray. How customising is this statement😢😢😢!!!

Listen to Minister Farrakhan's lecture "ALL IS VANITY." Beautiful lecture based on Solomon's sayings.

Dude who cares what lying Farrakhan says he is a devil. It's just a matter of time before he is dead and he would see Jesus sitting upon the Judgement seat ready to pass Judgement upon him

He also wrote the testament of Solomon. Which he controlled 72 demons. There is another book where he knew the spirit of God left him when he offered a sacrifice to a demon on behalf of one of his wives. He was able to control these demons and write books on his control because he had wisdom from God. He was abusing it in my opinion after following the way of foreign wives God told him not to marry.

IT wasn't about wisdom. It showed that even Gods most righteous men and servants were fallible. The only one of Gods servants that proved to be infallible is Jesus Christ and that is why God sacrificed Him on the cross to atone for our short comings.

So Solomon was not wise in all ways!

It just shows that humans are humans and we shouldn't idolize anyone just because they seem so smart and wise and only should look up to God. Most people are quick to follow a person all the way, but hesitant to follow Christ all the way.

What about the accumulation of silver and gold part ?

This is to show us all that if we don't abide and dwell in Christ Jesus and God's Word every day, it is our pride that makes us believe we can be obedient without the help of God's Holy Spirit. As Jesus says, apart from me you can do nothing.
