I don’t know about Ramakrishna but I would imagine many of the health problems of Ramana were caused by vitamin deficiencies. He didn’t eat much and never cared about whether or not his food had complete nutrition

That is the last Prarabhda that they had before moksha. The universe tests you to pass up. Whether you are fit enough to move to the higher realm or not. I agree with him a 100%. Absolutely right . Beautifully put.

I would love and greatly appreciate a response from Sri Jay Lakhani (it is a plea!) In the book 'The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna - Vol. 1' (in Page 69 in my Edition of the book) the following conversations are seen::- "Pundit Shashidhar one day suggested to the Master that the latter could remove the illness by concentrating his mind on the throat, the scriptures having declared that yogis have the power to cure themselves that way. The Master rebuked the pundit. "For a scholar like you to make such a proposal!" he said. "How can I withdraw my mind from the Lotus Feet of God and turn it to this worthless cage of flesh and blood?" "For our sake at least", begged Narendra and the other disciples. "But", replied Sri Ramakrishna, "do you think I enjoy this suffering? I wish to recover, but that depends on the Mother." Sir, Sri Ramakrishna Himself has said that he was suffering!! AND THIS CONTRADICTS YOUR ASSERTION THAT HE AND RAMANA MAHARSHI DO NOT SUFFER ONCE THEY REALISE THE SPIRIT. I humbly seek a clarification.

He did not say he was suffering. He said "do you think I enjoy this suffering?" Whose suffering do you think he is talking about? Also, if you can really hear, the answer is in the video. Let these words marinate and sink, let the fear go through... 😇❤️

They can even see why and how they got it 🙏🏼. How long it will last before the final call. And exit from the body at that exact moment. They are all masters of consciousness.

These Men of God do not suffer. But through the Len of our Ego, they appear to be suffering....

I know I cry every time I think about his pain. I love him so much it's hard to look at pictures of him in his old age for me I've noticed. It's like you want the Jnani to be immortal and he is but the ego insists that this mean the body be everlasting.

The purpose is instruct the ajnani that the videha multi and the jivanmukti are not different. The videhamukti sees no difference with or without a " body".

When such saints attain Samadhi or become one with the Brahman,their attachment with the body ceases to exist. They enjoy tremendous bliss or Ananda which cannot be described in words. In other words, both the visible and the invisible worlds do not exist at all for them or they vanish. Therefore they do not suffer. Once they come out of Samadhi,they experience the world again and their body suffers. Eventually, the body dies because of non attachment or its total neglect on their part.

Physical pain becomes trivial? There might not be suffering but pain is there, are they completely oblivious to the body? Negating the body and not suffering are 2 separate things.. this doesnt resonate at all... Was ramana disconnected negating the body by not acknowledging the bodies messages? Then what is the point of ayurveda? of health? Vutality? Pain isinevitable, suffering is optional, the fact rhat he didnt suffer has nothing to do with the fact that he faced cancer and not acknowledging the why seems off track... 🙏 Respectful feedback welcome

@Hindu Academy :How to ask questions to you , Jay lakhani sir. I want to know, how to progress on spiritual path if I am not very intelligent. I am not able to learn the meditation techniques or yoga postures or Vedic concepts, because of my slow mind in comparison to people I am surrounded with. How will I progress in this path of spirituality?
@remomein056 жыл бұрын
I am not Lakhani sir but I know a bit about the dharma. You are saying that your mind is slow but I am not buying it. To learn and perform a Yoga posture you won't need intelligence. Just find a certified yoga teacher and learn from him/her. The posture will help you to subdue your mind. Perform the yoga postures daily and things would start to happen on its own.
@Everything_Comes_And_Goes3 жыл бұрын
Just sit down, be comfortable, and do nothing, don't follow any thoughts, until even this is seen. Also ask yourself this, aren't you aware of the slow mind? Then who are you? The answer will lead you right to the end of the spiritual path.

Prarabdha Karma. It cannot be avoided. Only thing can be done is to go beyond it like these saints so you won't suffer it.

The body is God , everything is God. How can there be anything separate from anything , is some part of your body separate from the whole body ? So why should body get sick and die at all ??? Especially in case of saints. Separation of body mind emotions soul is illusory . Nothing can be separated like that
