That's a great way to make the minutes or hours go when you're stuck in traffic! The Apple story has always fascinated me. It turned out to be an economical disaster, but Neil Aspinall managed to save the company and made it successful in the end, long after the Beatles had gone their separate ways.

I've never understood this: It took until the end of the 80s to finally dissolve Apple to the point where they could finally start it up again in the 90s.

Perhaps they had some future visions for the company but needed it to wind up first before they could make changes?

HI Tudor difficult one in view of circumstances, but I got the gist of what you were explaining. I may need to watch it again. Incidentally you mention possibly RTA. If that's the case you would probably see air ambulances flying around. They would still attend even in the event of fatalities. Lets hope it wasn't either.

Thanks for this Tudor - literally in-car entertainment! If only the original ethos could have been delivered in full, Apple would have been something wonderful*. Instead it is another example of why we can't have nice things. *I appreciate that Apple still brings us truly great products, but it does it as "just another corporation" now, and it is ours, the general public's fault.

Ha ha - if I was then I would have missed the audition. I’ve had a couple of times, been stuck in traffic jams where I was heading to what could have been potentially life changing circumstances. They were thwarted by the holdups because I never made the end connection. Funny how life takes you on halted journeys eh?
