Don't apologise for asking folk to smash the buttons and subscribe. You spend time and money to provide us with 2 videos or more of quality, knowledgeable, funny, content. Asking to show support (which costs nowt) is the very least to expect. Oh, do the track upgrade on a Renault Espace like top gear did, and show them what can be done, rather than making it slower and setting it on fire.

Love my SQ5, had it 5yrs and it hasn’t missed a beat. Really solid truck and pulls for days. It’s the slowest car in the stable but not by much!

I thought the Skyline was the GTS version RB25 single turbo rear wheel drive. You mentioned the centre diff for oil change. I had the R33 GTR vspec. Great car silly power available. RB26

The sticky fuel level sender will be petrol “varnish” built up on the contact points, you can probably clean it off with carb clean

Ricky, following on from your talk in this vid about egr gas, injection, carbon build up etc I have a couple of questions. 1, I have a Passat GTE with just over 100k on it & have only ever run it on Shell Optimax, does this make a difference in how much carbon build up can occur due to it being a 'cleaner burning' fuel & will in turn create less contamination in the oil meaning less contamination in the inlet? 2, As manufactorers have prelonged service intervals, some in excess of 18k, I have the oil changed every 6k & will this also help with less carbon build up, I was always taught oil is cheaper than parts & it can't be good for longevity of engines stretching servicing out even though oil/engine/design/technology has moved on masses in the last 20yrs+. I think doing a bit of a series on track car increases in performance changing suspension, brakes, tyres compared to just engine performance mods on the same car & see a like for like before & after would be really interesting. Love the vids as always keep up the great & varied content 👍

Are you sure that level sender should be loose? I would think it would need some resistance to movement because if it was loose and actually floating, the level reading would be up and down like a brides knickers as the fuel sloshes about in the tank.

SQ5- what for injectors+ seals, coolant leak from oil coolant middle of V, gearbox services often overlooked because of Audis “seal for life’ bullsheet. Inlets, throttle valve and egr need a good clean out too. Otherwise great🤣

My Audi has the S-Tronic gearbox and 4 wheel drive, Audi say that both need regular oli changes, only my BMW said it was sealed for life, but ZF said change every 75,000 miles.

You definitely can do the same in uk maybe he’s to busy or parts and paint make it not worth it .we are getting quite strict on cars being low emissions in the uk so older cars are not worth much

Generally you could only buy back cars that were insured third party, fire and theft. I bought a couple of TPFT cars back but a mate of mine wanted to buy his car back from his insurance company and he was fully comprehensive and they wouldn't let him buy it back. Someone else I know was in the insurance industry and told me that most insurers have a contract with certain companies who have to take whatever cars are paid out on. Obviously some can be resold with the now categorised write off designation but, they have got to take the crap that is totalled and only worth putting in the crusher.

Sooo! What you did wrong! In a word Carly!!😈😈😈 Im sure they don't tell creators when they contact you to advertise theur dongle that it's going to cost way more than VCDS. There's the initial discounted price from the code you'll supply. Then each year after the price goes back up to the 'software rental' figure, and, they just charge it! No warning - its gone from your account. - It's a German thing and there's nowt you can do. It took me over a week of furious back and forwards email (and that's the only way they communicate with us plebs) before they accepted I wouldn't be renewing it any more. Two years later and I still wake up sweating when the renewal is due - SERIOUSLY, in no way is it better than VCDS, which has a community support system on the web for virtually everything!!
