I just traded in my 2021 Cadillac ct5 Premium Luxury for a 2025 Ct5 Cadillac Premium Luxury. I never had a problem with any Cadillac I owned. The 2025 years are refreshed inside and out compared to all the other years. They come with a 4 cylinder turbo but I got the 3.0L 6 cylinder twin turbo that has 339 hp. Mine was $61,230.00 MSRP. Technology package which has head's up display, 33 inch LED screen, Navigation, Premium Audio system, Massaging seats, Heated and Ventilated seats, all leather inside, full Panoramic Sunroof. Super Cruise, 360 cameras and the list goes on and on. I love it. All wheel drive. 20 inch wheels. The 2025 Ct5 V Blackwing is in production now. Not at the dealership yet. It has a V8 Supercharged engine with 668hp . That's at least a $100,000 car but usually more with all the other options it comes with. Cadillac over BMW for sure. You will pay more for a BMW and get less options, engine, everything.

I use to work for a Cadillac Dealership and it would frustrate buyers that GM Financial for lease requirements requires at least 40% down payment, so yeah dishing out $40k is wild to me and most people, most people would say $10k or 10% however that’s only covering taxes (partially). Most buyers will have the money either they work for TCP, Shuttle Driver or some sort of business to write of the debt, and there’s some customers who would do a special order and wait six to eight months to get their customized build Escalade. There’s a lot of customization from the diesel engine or petrol engine, to getting shorty or ESV, RWD or 4WD, different trim level, etc and the cost will definitely exceed $100k +. Everything about the Cadillac is expensive down payment, monthly payment, insurance, gas or diesel, cost of maintenance, but hey when you drive an Escalade most people assume your successful and made it in life.

The new 2024 & 2025 Cadillac Escalades are beautiful machines. GM has redone everything in them. That big sweeping screen across the dash is all glass and it's 3 different screens in one: the front passenger side acts as a tv and monitor where you can hook up to the internet and stream shows. The top trims have self closing and opening doors such as the Platinum and the V to where you swipe your hand across the bottom screen and the doors will open and close. The driver's side door you can program the car to open the door when you walk up to it because it detects the key fob. And my all time favorite feature on the Cadillac is the self driving super cruise. I specced out a 2025 Cadillac Escalades and it came out to be 114,000 The dealers in my area wanted 118,000 to 123,000 after doing the numbers yes I can afford it but I'm not willing to come off of 20 to 30 thousand dollars and not even be 1/3 of the way of owning the vehicle. In 2023 the cheapest car was a Mitsubishi Mirage it cost 30,000 and they don't even make those anymore. Everything is out of control with the pricing. Right now I drive a 2004 Acura and I'm going to stick to it. Also to anyone thinking about purchasing the Cadillac Escalade or any GM product be aware of the cylinder deactivation it will cause your engine to die prematurely.

Cadillacs were never for the average Joe. They lost prominence after the gas crisis, and GM started skimping on quality and limiting differentiation between Buick and Oldsmobile. When the accountants took over Detroit in the 1980s, everything went downhill. This allowed German brands to gain mass-market aspirational appeal in the US. It took them over 35 years to start working their way back. The hierarchy used to be: 1. Cadillac - c suite, entrepreneurs l, athletes, celebrities, and the wealthy 2. Oldsmobile - white collar 3. Buick - management and upper management 4. Chevy & Pontiac - Blue-collar family

Some people like driving and spend more time in their car than their house. It’s called working and how do you make your work life a little better? The drive there and back in comfort speed and great amenities. Enjoy the cars that give you back and leg problems.

CT5, definitely. I think I'd take the Caddy over a BMW. Average person's Cadillac? Find an '05 Escalade at the auction and never look back.

4 cylinder engines should be banned for all Cadillacs. Cadillacs are supposed to be luxury vehicles. 6 cylinder should be the absolute bare minimum engine for Caddies. By the way, Cadillac over BMW all day and everyday.
@tlitesworld22 күн бұрын
I don’t think 4s should be an option either for the price of these Cadillacs 6s or better! Are you not a BMW fan?
@JamesSmith-kn3vs22 күн бұрын
@@tlitesworld BMW's are top notch vehicles also. I'm sentimental about Cadillacs. My Grandfather owned a 1966 two door Caddy and my father owned a 1983 burnt orange slant back sedan that had a diesel engine. Both cars were smooth as butter on the highway.
