I know this video is a bit older but it's really well put together and it has a lot of good information in it, I'd also like to mention that in The Vedas of India the oldest Veda the rig-veda mentions mixing the juice from the soma plant with milk and some historians date the rig veda to over 10 thousand years.

It's weird to me that 75% of adults can't drink milk, I absolutely love milk and try to drink at least a glass a day. Milk is actually what helped me when I was going through medical issues and couldn't eat any solid food for a week

@@one-to-one-ratio no not really, because I'm skinny to the point of near concern and have no acne to speak of. Everyone I know obviously varies in weight from person to person, but nobody I know has acne and I know very few "heavy" people despite living in a state obsessed with dairy my entire life. So not really sure what the fuck you thought you were proving, but despite living in the literal "Dairy State" for 3 decades, your experience doesn't match up with mine or anyone I know

I am from indo-pak and when i was young i use to drink 1.5 to 2.0 liters of raw buffalo milk daily and never had any problem.., now at the age of 35 if i don't drink a glass of milk after food my stomach get upset. My aunt had livestock farm, she live near so i visited her everyday after school, just to drink milk, i just loved it. and now even i try to quit i just can't :(

Your opening statement is incorrect, put a bowl of milk in front of any animal, with the exception of maybe an iguana, and they will drink it up. Animals don’t drink other animals milk because they can’t, they won’t be allowed to by the other animals

Yeah we are the only animals to drink other animals milk as an adaptation into adulthood to gather more resources from our environment. Giving milk to an iguana is not healthy and it's not natural.

Your presentation was interesting. I do think some segments of your timeline is somewhat conjecture. There are several large gaps in the "archeological timelime" making some of the explanation of lactose persistance somewhat skewed. Sub-Saharan Africa was a vast Rainforest for an extended period that is very difficult to accurately date. The DNA evidence doesn't suggest anything other than the groups that are lactose persistant. Generally speaking the population groups that are lactose intolerant live in the equatorial band between the Tropics.

It probably wasn't an accident. I am sure people started domesticating cattle and goats in the first place solely for their meat. I bet people would had tried their cattle's or goat's milk when they had offspring. I mean it would had been an easy resource to obtain. Also, there's the benefit of not having to slaughter your animal.

I would go see a doctor! Usually you would have painful stomach pain and issues with digestion if you are lactose intolerant

My great great grandfathers stubborn ass actually refused to eat processed milk to the point to where my great grand daddy and grand mami bought him a cow. Maybe my ol great great gran pappy had a solid point and he wasnt such a stubborn ass after all.

No thats true maybe it can happen that some animal occasionally harvest milk from another but is very rare and normally only when they are puppies like some stray cat can drink milk from a dog ir vice versa but like you said just when are puppies but doesn’t change the fact that in the first 10 seconds of the video it say drink and not harvest
