I think there should be more studies done on BV. I had this issue with my last partner and could not figure out why. After over a year of getting BV while being with the same partner, I decided to leave that relationship. During an open conversation after the breakup, my ex admitted that he was having unprotected sex with random trans men he sought out online. My ex had a problem with ejaculation, so he hardly ever ejaculated during intercourse. During our conversation, he also admitted that the same happened with his ex before me. After the breakup and my final time getting antibiotics from my doctor, I never had BV again. It was not easy sharing my story, but I think it's helpful to share.

I think from this testimony that BV is a sexual transmitted infection. And men can carry bacteria in there.... If they have had unprotected sex

Turns out my partner of 14 years was sleeping with other women the entire time I was with him! The moment I stopped having sex with him is the moment my BV infections stopped! I changed nothing about myself except letting him have unprotected sex with me! I am tired of people claiming it's not caused predominantly by horny men!

I went to dr she said fishy oder wasn't bv. It went away so yesterday I have the smell again I suspect he's cheating. Been with him 7 years and got that smell for second time.

They cannot be treated for it anyways so yea we are the only ones that have to sought out treatment 😢I don't think once diagnosed u should run home and continue activities,atleast wait till it clears If u can

Yes they can. Have them see a doc and ask he get prescribed the medication. It comes in pill form

I just want to thank you for validating my suspicions! I noticed that ever time he EJ in me, it would cause some funk. I will avoid intercourse completely or make him pull out, which is no fun… being with the same partner for 11 years, I have suspected this within the past 2 years and your video explained exactly why and that my assumptions are correct! Hi. I always have protected sexual intercourse, but since i have permanent partner, we decided to try intercourse without using condom. Immediately after the intercourse i got BV with symptoms including mild pain, itching and feeling unwell down there. The results have shown enterococcus. My doctor prescribed antibiotics which successfully cured the bacteria. One month later we tried again without condom and the symptoms appeared again. I am wondering how can i have normal unprotected intercourse without getting BV? Thanks

Use vaginal boric acid suppository’s those pills are inserted in your vaginal and work wonders for vaginitis, yeast infections, and your ph levels. Make sure you and your partner showered before sex. And also make sure you urinate and shower after sex as well because it flushes out the bacteria.

I read on another comment a woman kept getting the issue even tho they were married. She and her husband took antibiotics together and the priblem was over, they both needed to take it at the same time. Hope this helps

The girl be on point! My husband stopped taking certain vitamins think it was that and i claw to the conclusion it was bacteria over growth and oh imbalance so I started to start with that

I think doctors should be frank with patients. I only ever got BV from sex with men. Stopped having sex and I have never had a problem. Had a man who was obsessed with cleanliness and never had a problem. I blame men who do not wash themselves properly.

I noticed this too ...im good if i dont have sex 🤷🏿‍♀️...i can satisfy myself and not smell nothing. For months the moment i have sex with the same guy of years boom bv...so i think doctors should change the claim men cant spead it. Im allergic to condoms but even that i come out good. The only change is when i actually sleep with the guy.

Did you get tested for STD and bacteria in your vaginal smear? What does the microscope show - do you have enough good bacteria lactobacillus?

Your partner needs to be treated, and he also needs to be tested by a urologist for Urethritis.

Once he is treated also have him use Irish spring soap on his penis. It’s an antibacterial soap.

For the past 5 years I have been trying to cure my BV, and finally found a therapy which works in the long terms - doing it for 6 months, and not for 1. Having enough lactobaccilicus in the vagina is the best protection against many pathogens and bacteria. And its the hardest. Vaginal acidity is what needs to be constantly kept at the right level, otherwise good bacteria cannot grow. Lactic acid was my saviour, and vaginal probiotics. Of course, after a course of vaginal metronidazole. My partner never did anything, as I think while men do not have vagina, they cannot cultivate gardnerella vaginalis 😂

@@ladyj71107 Hi, we do not have much choice here, where I live, but fortunately we have one option, which contains the right strains of lactobacillus, proven to be found in the vaginal microbiome. So, when you pick a probiotic for vaginal healt - oral ot vaginal capsules - always check the ingredients and look for the strains Rhamnosus, Reuteri, Gasseri .

@@ladyj71107 Always check the strains of lactobaccilus you are about to use - crispatus, gasseri, jensenii, iners. They have to be mentioned on the product label. Other strains have minimal to no effect in the vaginal microbiota.

I am creating a video on this next week What can cause VB and cure hope this help Because I deal with plants the number one remedy is Garlic (this will burn your insides use crushed garlic but one of those inserts you use for yeast infection put about 1/4 teaspoons inside vagina and night or when you are laying down. I heard you say WATER has a ph balance of around 7, but our honey pot likes to be more acidic. Is it not good to douche with ONLY spring water after sex? Could that throw my ph balance off and give me BV?

Douching is not good, please do your research on it and stop right away, just wash with warm water and a baby rag and you’re good.
