I literally made this house blue print, (maybe just a coincidence right?) and a 3d render of it on sketch up And gave it to someone in hua hin. Still got the backup. Was a pro Bono project. I really like what they did with the interior.

There are some great design features in this property, so kudos if it came from you! This house was built about 18 years ago.

wow thats awesome, how close is it to markets/stores/beach etc? You mentioned DC inverters, does it have solar?
@Pranburi-property5 ай бұрын
@BrianBeuken Hi, thanks for the message, there are shops and restaurants within 250 meters. There is no solar at present but the owner has previously had a quote for a full system with batteries (I believe around 500k). There are lots of options available to install solar to suit your usage and needs. The electricity bills for this property are around 4000 Baht per month 👍

Nice house but no way i would buy in thailand. Its just too complicated for a single older man .

Hi, thanks for the message. Curious, what do you see as being complicated? Use a good lawyer with anything you do (as you would at home), and it's really simple....also, for a single older man, it may be the best place in the world to be 😁🙏

Nice house, but you don't own the dirt it's sitting on

its freehold, you can buy via a company, or Thai spouse... its just the facts of how it is... 30 year lease is avialble whcih also should suit most farang who want to stay long term. I will be moving next year and if a place like this is available, I would snap it up.

You do if you're Thai. If you are married to a Thai, you can register an usufruct to safeguard yourself. If you're in a serious relationship with a Thai, you could register a 30 year lease on the land from them. You can have a 30 year lease on the land via the developer of the project... ...there are ways to secure your investment.

@@Pranburi-property An investment gives you a return on capital invested, Putting down several hundred thousands of dollars on a "leasehold property" as opposed to an index fund or Money market paying over 5% makes little sense when you can rent and when the property no longer suits you leave the keys on the table and move on. Until Thailand gives foreigners full property rights like Italy does, they are muting desire for real estate IMO, however it is their country.

@@peterparello8319thanks. It doesn't have to be a leasehold property, the freehold is available.

@@Pranburi-property Resale is the big concern, plus after 6 months in country there is a tax implication until Thailand makes a more favorable environment for foreign investors I would look elsewhere.
