I wasn't really a bully, I was friends with cool blonde chicks and other boys when I was 14. They would bully and I would laugh and point at them and put my hand on my mouth. I was desperately trying to be cool.

Yeah I also got bullied. I don't know why everyone targets me. Some people are even more insecure and silly than me but they get less bullied.

Same, i got bullied a lot there was this girl that never left me alone , i was very talkative back then when she came I stopped talking i started being quite and give my bully what she wanted and i didnt say a word. And as a child i had a pretty traumatising childhood 😔 but i never felt like that effected me much it was her she would always make me insecure, i tried being friends with her but she’d say i was a nerd for wearing glasses but she also said I was dumb ( I MEAN COME ON I DIDNT CHOOSE MY EYE SIGHT TO BE WEAK) As a child my parents usually thought a cry for attention They would say would” you are emotional” “ stop looking for attention” that really did effect me So next time you say smth mean to A CHILD think about there situation and feelings 😑 Ik this is long T-T

When it comes to me, to me bully's bully people because they are very insecure, unhappy and also jealous of you, most likely because you have a life they want and so they pick on you to make themselves feel better but they are only hurting themselves even more.

I bullied people in primary school because I was a weird kid and didn't want to be targeted so I bullied other "weird" kids. For me it was about fitting in with the group. There was also a fat kid who was a big bully, nobody would even dare to make fat jokes about him, even if they made fun of other fat kids. Now that's interesting because he was liked for being mean and making fun of others, kids would laugh at the jokes he made about others. I found out that laughter is another great bullying tactic as it gives people reason to bully others, they wish to entertain themselves and when a group thinks that the joke is funny it's usually hard to disagree . In a way making mean jokes about someone takes away from that cruel aspect, it turns bullying into something that is seen as more acceptable somehow.

When I bully people, I just think in my mind, cracking a joke, and then realizing what I said was hurtful after I said it, but I go along with the joke. Half the time I don't even realize it was taken as bullying. I really don't mean to, but it just happens, I'm working on it.

there are as many bullies that are women than ones that are men, but physical violence is more common with male bullies because they are stronger than women. For women it's more social

Why are some bullies nice to you and then go back to being a bully? I’ve had bullies but to this day I feel so weird to say that because they were nice to me and made me feel good but then just make me feel like killing my self other times

It's one of two reasons I think; either the bully only does it for attention, and when there's no audience they see no reason to be bully, which is why they're nice when alone, or alternatively they use it as a deliberate tactic to get your guard down so that they can keep bullying you with less resistance for longer.
