Great stuff. That treadmill was almost as big as your truck. Glad you rescued the end tables was going to clap for you, but I took a tumble less then two weeks ago and broke my wrist in two places. Have to see the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday to find out if I have to have surgery.

Glad you brought your son along. It's important for our youth to see the value of a dollar. Never hurts for them to get their hands dirty once in awhile either. He will look totally different here in a couple of yrs. He definitely didn't look 100lbs. Wait until he starts eating more than the cost of your rent or house payment. Another great video Paul. Keep them coming. I'm afraid I've turned my son into a hoarder because, I showed him yard sailing and thrift stores. We get bored sometimes and go dumpster diving. We bought $50 in ones and went to all the stores and stuck dollar bills on everyone's windshields. He had a ball giving the money away.

You hooked me. Husband came home and I told him...you're not going to believe this...but I just spent 40 minutes of my morning watching a scrap guy play Jenga with metal in the back of his pickup. LOL I told him I didn't know what kept me watching...but he just had the most pleasant voice, and just listening to him soothed me and made me happy. When you presented your 20 bucks you were thankful. Then when you prayed it hit me...it was Jesus in You that shown thru the video. Well, Praise the Lord..and pass the metal!! What a nice boy you have too! No wonder stuff I sit at the curb goes so fast...now I know.

I guess so. I found a really nice red oak bed frame that I'll be rebuilding (with some other lumber I have on hand). I don't get it. People will work horrible jobs for 10 bucks an hour, then buy a 500 dollar bed frame that they'll throw out a year later... It will take me about 1 - 2 hours to rebuild it. So... 250 bucks an hour. Definitely worth my time. Another option I have is to cannibalize it for the legs of a fancy table. High quality lumber is one of the most underrated resources in this country. Meanwhile, people will shell out for frikkin' particle board and manufactured wood. It boggles the mind.

BUT you have to make an appointment several weeks out and specify your exact items being disposed! We can put FREE items curbside for several days for driveby treasure hunters to claim. ...I found some wonderful pieces over the years!! It's a FINE line between collecting and hoarding...
