Why do riders and drivers get so angry at each other

Hi Caesar I got a friend who lives in Katy, TX he was in accident a Jeep hit in a road rage and he said not his fault but Aaron got him on video camera showing who fault is it !😅

I drive and ride equally and I have made an observation over the years that I think applies here. People in cars and trucks are far more aggressive toward motorcyclists because we are smaller and they view us as an easy target to basically bully. I am constantly finding drivers who will get into a lane they know ends next to me on my bike, and then get angry and try to run me off the road when they couldn't beat me to the merge. Happens a LOT.

Well that's not completely true. Having driven a car for over 10 years and motorcycle for 1 year, both driver and rider dislike the aggressive/careless driver. I would categorisze motorcyclist into the defensive rider or the reckless rider. For the reckless rider, every situation is a risk, even the granny pulling out of the turn at 5mph.

the do do doo doot was better than the actual played music... may I suggest playing what you were singing instead of what you played? to me a Cager is someone who's car has a roll cage... generally those people have a much greater skill level than the average driver, they may still be preoccupied by something other than the road though, and there's a good chance that as they have no sound deadening in the car that all they can hear is suspension, exhaust and possibly straight cut gears... so they Aint gonna hear you coming! I had someone yell "Slow down" at me in an old car I had, I was in second gear, coming out of a corner, doing just on 1/2 revs, and just below the speed limit od 50km/h (30mph) and changed to third just before they yelled... so I changed back to second and kept doing the speed limit with the revs up around the 3500rpm mark, just to let them know I was only in second and not actually speeding... but 6000rpm on a bike? that's still 1/2 revs, the best place for it to be. and what it is designed to cruise at! It's just that cars are doing the same at 3000 and it sounds so much slower!

Before watching, I'll say what I think... there are some straight up idiots on bikes, this is very evident watching KZbin, as many of them post what they do! There are Gang members that ride in large groups deliberately intimidating innocent people. and both of these cast a very dark shadow on Motorcyclists. But the biggest problem, is people in cars see motorcyclist as jumping the queue, and not obeying the rules that vehicle with 4 or more wheels have to obey, and having no idea that Motorcycle have additional things they are allowed to do. and Drivers will deliberately try to block the path of a motorcycle in response to their own belief that the motorcycle is breaking the rules, but as Motorcycles are able to not be a part of the congestion, and bypass it, not just to get to where they want to go without being held up by traffic, but to alleviate the congestion in the process. By not being a part of the congestion, Motorcycles are reducing the congestion! It is very dangerous for a motorcycle to sit in the middle of traffic and do what the cars are doing, going to the front of the Queue at the lights gets them out of harms way, Car drivers cannot understand that, as well as getting themselves out of harms way, going to the front of the queue means they are long gone before any car in the queue starts to move, meaning the motorcyclist is reducing the congestion for the car drives, but car drivers cannot understand that! and car drivers barely look to see if another car is where they are about to drive, so Cars hit each other all the time... but for a motorcyclist, that is deadly, and you can't be surprised when someone nearly gets killed and is upset about it! It's extremely difficult to text while riding, I haven't tried personally, but I don't think I would be able to, car drivers however do it frequently, and we can see them doing it, we know they are not paying attention to what is around them, and that act puts us in great Danger! and I think we have every right to get upset about it... as does every other road user around them!

I am a new rider and definitely not the most skilled rider but I follow all the rules of the road and ride responsibly. Even then I get so much road rage from drivers, cutting me off, tailing me and even throwing things out the window. I don't understand why. I don't have a fast bike , in fact its quite slow. It is a RE Classic 350. Is there are reason why drivers are so mean?
