It's interesting how alot of homes here in Brisbane don't have anything behind the metal fascia & it literally hangs on brackets from the ends of the trusses. It's a real bitch if your trying to attach anything or the trusses warp over time

Did you disconnect the electricals when replacing

It depends on how the client wants the finished product to look. Sometimes they take the most expensive option and have the electricals disconnected before the new fascia covers are installed. Often, they do not mind us cutting the fascia cover around the electrical anchor and sealing the gap.
