IMO, "surprise" isn't the most surprising thing you can yell. You yell that and they immediately understand it's a surprise party and they don't even get too startled. If you yelled something weird, they'd be startled as f*ck and they'd need more information before they understood it was a surprise party, but they'd be extremely surprised.

They're both fine, spinning is used to exaggerate. The best version of this I ever heard was "Aristotle hearing you completely miss the point of his philosophy must be spinning so fast in his grave he's creating electricity!"

He had me laughing but there’s no connective tissue..it’s just like random jokes one after another with no segway…he loses a lot of steam like that so he ends up pretty just ok as a comedian
