I want to restore my clear vision because I've noticed that clear flashes come when I'm deeply relaxed and feeling good about myself and my life. The more I relax, the clearer my eyesight gets, the more centered I feel, the more I'm connected to truth. Conversely, out of focus eyesight is related to tension, fear, and anxiety. I want to see clearly because the tension in my eyes maintains my fear, and I'm sick of living in fear. I want to feel relaxed, happy, and good about my life. Seeing clearly is also related with living in the here and now. I want to let go of those aspects of my past that I'm clinging to. I want to be more in the present.

Mark,, you are a God send!!! About 1 month ago, started to investigate the bates method. Was on another channel, but I am so glad I found yours. Others complicated however your simple explanation resonated with me. I signed up for your basic and when done will get the advanced. I am sooo appreciative for your logical, concise explanations. I have already begun to share them. The proof is in the seeing as I have already made progress!

I want to improve my vision because I don't want to be completely reliant on my glasses. My vision is bad enough that I can't do anything without wearing them. Thank you so much Mark, for making all your findings so freely available & taking the time & effort to make these videos. Someday soon I hope to contribute my own findings in the field of nutrition for improving eyesight.

I just paid $200 for glasses I cannot wear. They’re great for driving but I was told “close up” would be too strong. I was Not told “close up” was anything under 10 feet. The eye dr told me he wasn’t going to give me bifocals. He didn’t say I needed them. Nobody asked what I do for a living. Nobody wanted to answer my questions. If this is how they’re going to be, I’d rather just make the effort to improve my eyesight.

One thing I hate about doctors is most of them want you to take what they say without question. They'll often dismiss you or your concerns because they're supposed to be the professional. I'm now at the point when it comes to doctors that if I can't question your answers, you're not the doctor for me. I want to be able to have a conversation with my doctor because no one person has the answer for everything!

I started because my left eye always felt "twisted" from wearing glasses, but my astigmatism was too bad to go without them! Original scrip was OD -2.25s / -0.25 cyl OS -1.75s /-2 cyl. Now my glasses are -0.75s. That's it!! Very light prescription, no astigmatism! Life without glasses is SO THREE DIMENSIONAL!!! Thank you for your content, you and Nathan Oxenfeld have helped improve my eyesight (and my life) so much ☆♡

Ps - my astigmatism in my left eye developed during high school when i started playing flute. The posture is very asymmetrical and twisted -similar to violin. So interesting!! And also so liberating to be mostly free of it

Yesss, this is the attitude to have! Being aware of what caused your issue will help you be more mindful when you start doing those habits. Then you work on telling yourself, I need to change the way I've done these things in the past. It makes improvement much faster because you're reprogramming your brain!

I was naturally implementing vision development procedures as a youngster and teenager - subsequently, with 19 years I practiced Dr. Janet Goodrich's teachings, I improved my eyesight in a major way. But every time I made a breakthrough - at times seeing "like an eagle" and feeling ecstatic - there was always a big fear (of death and harm) almost overwhelming me... And later in life, as a result of this significant anxiety, 'I created' fears that held me back in life and prevented me from refining my vision for the better...

I've noticed that many people who wear glasses have fear and anxiety about a lot of things. It's like we're afraid to let the world see us and if they do, something will happen! I still battle with this myself at times, but it's gotten better over the past 5 years. This is the mental stuff that keeps us from improving as much as we possibly can. For this reason, I work more on the mental aspects to improving my eyesight than the techniques themselves. By doing this I find the techniques work better. I believe if you don't fix you're mental deficiencies, you'll struggle with any improvement and I'm not just talking about vision.

You're absolutely correct, Mark. My life has been a journey, and I've learned a lot about myself along the way. I am slowly getting braver and facing my fears. This is helping me to see things in a new and better way. You have been a great role model and teacher, and you inspire and encourage! Thank you!@@MyopiaIsMental

You're very welcome! When I was training in karate and jujitsu, many of the people I trained with were police officers or sheriffs. While this was before the official start of my vision improvement journey, the training helped me become more aware of my surroundings. I often trained without my glasses and thinking back I'm surprised how much I was able to see even though I couldn't see clearly. That being said, for safety, having a clear unobstructed view can be tremendously helpful in that line of work!

Often when I go for a period without posting videos it's due to the fact that I'm learning more about this process. I spend a lot of time educating myself, but before I put out a video, I think a lot about how I can explain something that is complex in a way that is easy to understand. As for your double vision, send me a message using the support form on my website. It's too much to put here but I can give you pointers to help with that.

Thank you for your effort and willingness to share knowledge to the world but please make also consideration to the amount to be paid for different countries. Like 100 dollars is a huge money for developing countries such as Egypt I'm speaking about my country and I guess for others. Maybe in USA and European countries is very cheap. So, just please make a reduced payment to those countries. And thank you

Hi Mark! I just want to get rid of those glasses that I’ve been wearing since I was 10 (for ~ 30 years now). My own dad used to call me „a monkey with glasses“… Although I have a high miopia of -7.5/-8.5, I truly believe now that my eyes are healthy and can see on their own once I learn how to relax them. I’ve now got back to your techniques that I gave up on a couple of years ago because of the severe double vision and I’set my goals on 20/20. Do you think it’s worth taking part in your vebinar if I have your extended guide already? I’m still struggling with double/triple vision…

Hey Mark. Just a small query. Do having a proper routine helps the process too ? Like i study whole night and sleep in morning. Should i change it to waking up early with the Sun ? Whats your take on this. Have you benefitted specifically by sunbathing in morning ?
@MyopiaIsMental
@MyopiaIsMental Жыл бұрын
Yes, having a routine helps tremendously. The first thing I do each morning is some drills to wake up my eyes. I usually get some sunlight around 8:00 - 9:00 am. Being in sunlight is super important for your eyes and I try to get as much sunlight as I can throughout the day.

Did you confirm if your vision really became 20/20 vision eventually now I remember you are not perfected but you are going to get perfect just wondering if that is perfected now
@MyopiaIsMental
@MyopiaIsMental Жыл бұрын
My vision is 20/20 or better most of the time. I say most of the time because vision is not perfect all the time even for those who have never worn glasses! I know exactly when my vision is not going to be at it's best. That's typically when I'm extremely tired, sick or overly stressed. The good things is I know my triggers to poor vision. I can overcome them in all of these situations, but it does take an extreme amount of mental concentration when I'm not at my best. I don't need someone to confirm to me that I'm 20/20 when I already know I'm 20/20. One thing I've realized through this process is that people are obsessed with validation from others versus learning to validate themselves. Did you know many people fail eye exams because of the conditions they're exposed to during the exam? You're in a dark room looking at a small, brightly lit area, with some stranger in your personal space. Stressful situations like this can cause you to tunnel vision and have soft vision. Yet, the minute you walk out the room, you see perfectly fine! I'm going to talk more about this soon in a future video, but think about this: Some of the smartest and innovative people in the world were not straight A students. If they only used that measurement of getting A's means you're smart then we wouldn't have many of the innovations we have today.

𝐇𝐄𝐘 in one of the videos in your other channel you said that, while you work on your computer you are constantly watching objects in your peripheral vison. But when i try that i cannot focus on the object in my central vison ( by focus i mean i am so aware of my peripheral that i am not understanding the words in my central vision ) How did you work this out?
@MyopiaIsMental
@MyopiaIsMental Жыл бұрын
It takes time to learn how to do this with all multiple objects in you peripheral. I started out slow by concentrating first on two objects (left and right) with a central object on a table with a neutral background. As you get better at the simple setup, start adding more objects and make the scene more complex. It may seem impossible at first but we aren't supposed to see one thing at a time. We're supposed to see everything all the time, but the center will always be the sharpest!

I live in the city , I walk down the street without using my glasses. On the street there are cars, buildings and people walking . What should I do to improve my vision? Should I focus on one point on the street and try to notice the movement of cars? Do I focus on near or far things? Do I move looking from one place to another? Or I look down and try to imagine the rest of the scene ? Could you give me practical advice when I'm walking down the street? Thanks

Will your methods work for deteriorating eyesight 20 years after Lasik ? Thanks
@MyopiaIsMental
@MyopiaIsMental Жыл бұрын
Yes, There are several people in my Advanced Journey Group that have had deteriorating eyesight after Lasik but have seen improvements. I know quite a few people that had Lasik 5-10 years ago and all of them are either back in glasses or had to get another surgery. Lasik is only a temporary fix, because if you don't address the root cause (tension) it will continue to get worse over time. Knowing how to relax can prevent any further deterioration and also improve your eyesight.
