“I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings.” ~ Philippians 3:10 The words “fellowship” and “suffering” don’t look as though they fit together. One communicates comfort. The other, pain. Yet God links these words, insisting that our deepest fellowship with Him can be found in the midst of suffering. The word “fellowship” does not mean a club. It’s not an inner circle of elite believers or a higher level of super-spiritual saints who have arrived. Fellowship - in the Greek, koinonia - means a mystical participation together with Christ. It’s a marvelous mystery that Jesus feels the sting in His chest when you hurt. When I hurt, when I’m in physical pain from my paralysis, when my heart twists in anguish, I cast myself on Jesus. In the fellowship of suffering, I know He takes my pain personally, He’s close enough to catch me. As I rest in His arms, I’m amazed how often I find myself singing this hymn: All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me, All my heart was full of misery and woe; Jesus placed His strong and loving arms around me, And He led me in the way I ought to go. No one ever cared for me like Jesus, There’s no other friend so kind as He; No one else could take the sin and darkness from me - O how much He cared for me! Congrats!! I love hearing stories of sobriety as I lost my 21 year old son in 2013 to an OD! He passed on a Thursday and was supposed to be in a long term, Christian rehab center on the following Monday. So although I don't know you personally, I'm so proud of you! God is sooo good!!

.I suffer from chronical pain since more then 30 years serveral burn outs an abusive childhood etc. Dropping in NEW AGE to get rid of the pain. makes it only worse I did not go to Church because in my childhood I was told that God Sees every mistake I make and is angry at me... Some weeks ago I got on my knees and prayed... I surrender my life to you JESUS ...when you love me...please help me to get out of the pain and to know your will.. The next day I fell down the stairs and broke my rhigt foot. A Christian man came 400 km to take care of me and my little dog.... Now I use my sleepless nights to pray for me and others and to read in the bible... I Don t know what Jesus and Gods Plan for my life is But I believe in him.... Thank you for your testimony. It helps me to Trust in Jesus....

At about 9:00 she mentions that God shares His joy with us and in some terms to suffer with Jesus well she hit the nail on the head because as we all tend to forget that Salvation is free for us it cost God "EVERYTHING" so we need to remember what it says in (Phil 1:29) that it's given to you to not "only" believe on Christ but "ALSO" to "suffer" with him, we'd do well to remember that, and we all "know" what G.R.A.C.E means other than unmerited favor, it also means: (G)ods (R)iches (A)t (C)hrist's (E)xpense

Oh man my dad had me watch the movie on Joni when I was little I lived that movie I always wanted to watch it all the time. I started learning how to write with my mouth I still do it from time to time. Anyways she's crossed my mind a few times in the last few months like i wondered if she was still alive. Moved to tears as I heard her testimony. She lives with chronic pain, disability and cancer. I saw the film of her life in which she acted. Brilliant. Also because my 89 year old mother is living with chronic pain, base of her spine, knee and nerve pain. Additionally she doesn't know Jesus as her Saviour. The thought that she could die without Him is just awful.

I ask myself those questions daily. Good always comes from evil or bad things. God breaks you and remakes you. Oh well, this is God's story after all, he loves tragedy as much as happy endings even if not everyone has them. I just want the ending of the story to come, I want to see and know it. I want to embrace the end. I love and hate God, I am the sheep that continues to leave the flock but then is found and placed back into the herd only to leave it again but yet again be found. I love that God is always watching but I hate that he does nothing when we stumble and fall, he is there to tell us to rise. I hate that not everyone is able to maintain their burden thus crumble under the pressure while God does nothing. I love that God is at the end when one life ends and another begins.

If you ask for a closer walk with God, be prepared to suffer! Jesus Suffered. He was rejected, spat on, hung on a cross, and now, people don't believe in him! Oh Boy can we relate to that! So ... when I asked "Lord I want to see the world through your eyes" Even wrote a loooooong poem on that theme. then WOW... the first thing I got to see is how wrong the church can be!!!! We also became aware of mulitple personalities/identities, including different genders and sexualities and spiritual beliefs all in ONE person, us! It's a bit like the world, or on a smaller scale, the church! And we... had to learn to accept and even love each other dispite ALL that. Looking through Gods eyes, isn't what you expect. Only a very few, will see it and undestand it.

With all due respect, and although I truly honor what Joni Eareckson-Tada has testified regarding her suffering, and relationship with God, it most likely will not make any difference or impact on those who don't have the same amount of love, support and care that Joni Eareckson-Tada gets. Many disabled and elderly people in third world countries, or poor deprived areas of the USA, don't get any adequate care and support, or love and care from their families and friends. They suffer from ignorant, or wilful, neglect and abuse. They also can not get, or are denied, access to medical care and support from the government. I personally think that Joni Eareckson-Tada is in a very privileged position, unlike most disabled and elderly people. So please spare a thought for those people. Thank you.

Trinity in Bible It is surprising to know that the word Trinity is not found even once in the entire Bible. The doctrine of the Trinity is not found in any Hebrew or Greek Scriptures. Yet millions of Christians blindly follow this concept. Hence it should come as no surprise then that the false teaching of the trinity is also borrowed from paganism. 📌This Historical evidence itself is enough to classify Trinity as unbiblical and an innovation in Christianity.

What do you possess that can give you strength to endure a lifetime of physical pain, helplessness, humiliating experiences, lost dreams and hopes and an uncertain future, and give you comfort, hope and joy? People like Joni by the millions have a peace that passes understanding, a joy through every trial, and a real purpose all while serving to inspire others at the same time they help them in their struggles and needs. They have enjoyed their lives, have hope in death and left the world behind them a better place. You won't find that anywhere but Jesus.
