To shed a little bit of light on this topic. In Spain the song was popularized by some tiktoker, who looked like Cucurella and decided to make the song. His name is Adri Navarro. He probably doesn't know very much about football, but made the song because people were asking him to, and made up some lyrics like the "Haland tiembla, que viene Cucurella". The song was kinda popular and when Spain won, people wanted Cucurella to sing it, to "embrace the meme". On that stage, when the crowd is shouting at him to sing the song, he answers something like "I didn't even want to sing it, but I knew I coudn't get away with not singing it". So yeah, the song in Spain is considered really really light banter, and he is by no means "taking shots" at Haaland like it is said in the video.

Its more about styles of play to be honest. Spain's emphasis is more about defending with the ball, by having 60 to 65% of the possession. The other 30 to 25% of the game is mostly, 15% of a midfield scap and battle and perhaps only 15% where they actually defend their penalty area, so they really don't do much defending anyway to be honest. If you take that into consideration Cucurella is well suited for that type of style, he's a typical Spanish left back.

Kroos was going for the ball, you can see that with how his head was turned in the direction of the ball and pedri was just unfortunate to be in the way of his leg.
