I used your link and the pages wont load, try to search and took 5 min. I have good internet and tried a different site and it worked fine. So not sure. But was very annoying to use.

From other videos, it looked like a thermistor decreased in resistance as it headed up. For the Hayward boards, does the board logic measure the voltage and kill the power if it reaches a certain threshold? As a current limiter, I'd have thought it would increase resistance with heat, but that doesn't seem to be how these work.

I've got a board I just replaced, but the symptoms was no power LED, though it was showing a "no flow" LED. I'd like to see if the old board is repairable. Can I test the thermistor without removing it to see if it's broken? It isn't visibly damaged. The rubber around the legs *might* be a little discolored, but it could just be age. I would think I could touch the contact plates with my multimeter and measure if the resistance is as expected at room temp.

what if What if I install a Galaxy A30 screen instead of a Galaxy A50 screen regardless of the fingerprint feature that I don't want? Knowing that both screens are the same size and type.

Never had a warranty my ASS! the USED capton tape looses factory seal once removed. Replacing the capton tape will make the home button eventually not "click" cause the nipple (on the capton tape) has slid off where it is supposed to be. We replace the actuator, because we have the experience and evidence of how a "quick fix" is just that.

"Red ring of death" is SOLID red center light without the fan spinning full speed. Blinking red light is just failed 0ohm resistors and can be easily fixed with one or more solder blobs in 100% of cases. A cake walk.

I feel like the two base and four face plate rubber screw covers are NOT necessarily salvageable... or worth trying. Long nails led to a scuffed rubber surface and eventual ripping, leaving behind a layer of rubber still covering each screw. Onto the extra risky solutions: I tried *carefully* using an X-acto precision blade. ripped (not cut) the rubber before the adhesive lifted. Slippage caused severe damage to the casing. Eyeglass micro flathead screwdriver - can't slip between plastic and rubber. Too girthy. Light attempts damaged the rubber surface, and deform the surrounding shell plastic like butter. ended up ripping all 6 of them. 1 of 2 base pads fully in half with my nail. 2 of 4 face pads in pieces , leaving behind adhesive. the last 2 face pads using a screwdriver via stabbing through to the screw head, fed up with the caused case damage trying TL;DR: Fuck it! The plastic shell costs more and is harder to replace than some (maybe irreplacable) rubber bits. Next time, I destroy rubber intentionally. Plan a replacement whilst ordering a screen, not after.

Profixerr, is a mask with a filter needed? Looks like you did ok without needing one in this vid? Can you answer this, please? I'm worried about burns, or eye irrittion, or skin irritation. I will be using nitrile gloves. I purchased a mask with a filter, but I can't wear a mask all night while I sleep. My "store" / work area, is also my studio apartment where I also sleep.

I have to say .... I'm a Unix kernel programmer and need to replace the digitizer / screen on my note 10 plus.... I'm usually pretty comfortable with hardware , etc. But I was a bit worried about this one... Even after watching other videos on the topic... Your video however was a breath of fresh air!!! It was very professional and it carefully explained every step of the process... Including the not so proper things (like melting the glue and getting the back off ... Others were like "hit it with a heat gun a pull it off slowly... Apply constant force... " - it was honestly the least professional / "proper" thing I've ever seen done to a device like this ... ) Yours however just gave me the knowledge I needed to attack this with confidence... I have no doubt that I got this replacement , but I credit you and your methodical explanation... Thank you very much, again... Great job!

Thanks for the video, I was able to successfully change the HDMI port. The only problem now is that the console no longer recognizes a controller. This was not the case before. I've tried 20 different cables and different controllers and even a new one from Amazon, nothing helps. Funnily enough, I can connect the controller via USB cable when the PS4 is in security mode. Repairing the database etc. didn't solve the problem either, when I try to reinstall the firmware via USB, I get the error message "SU-41283-8". Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

Hey i know this comment is a little late but my iPhone 12 recently had the same problem but my screen was still working fine so i took it to a random repair shop after he repaired it he told me that he also had to change the screen but when I told him that the screen works just fine he said some technical things that I didn’t understand. So im wondering have I been scammed off of my iPhone screen or was the change really necessary
