I was fully prepared to introduce my self to posture the way of me communication with other. They dont even give you a reason why you are not accepted. I was disappointed, I know i can do more... they didn't give me time to show my self, but thus will not stop me to try again after 3 months.

Your hair colour looks pretty natural to me. As long as it’s not crazy colours like pink, blue, green etc. it shouldn’t be a problem. Red/ginger hair is natural so it should be allowed.
@JetstreamGingerАй бұрын
Believe me, it wasn’t just about pink, blue, or green 🙈 Before every departure, we had an Image and Uniform officer who ensured we met strict grooming standards. If anything was off, they would stop you and expect it to be corrected before your next flight. They were incredibly particular, especially with blond crew members, often scrutinizing the exact shade of their hair. For example, a friend of mine, who had naturally highlighted hair, was stopped and told to dye it because they assumed her highlights weren’t natural. She had to fight to prove otherwise. The Image and Uniform standards at Emirates were no joke. I even dyed my hair back to my natural black before joining to avoid any issues😬 During training, there was a girl with dyed red hair who was asked to return to her natural color, even though her dyed hair looked very natural to me. So, they are really picky 🙈

I want to attend the Emirates cabin crew assessment day with a beard because, over the years, I have attended many airlines cabin crew interviews clean-shaven but have been unsuccessful and never received a golden call. I believe trying something different, like keeping my beard, might bring a positive change. However, I am fully willing to clean shave if I receive the golden call and am required to fly to Dubai for training.
@JetstreamGinger6 күн бұрын
I don’t think the issue was that you were clean-shaven, it might have been nerves or something else. Being clean-shaven actually shows that you have attention to detail and follow the I&U guidelines before Open Day. I know one guy with a beard who passed, but he was asked to shave for the final interview. However, he was exceptional and had a bright personality, which is likely why they made an exception for him (though they still required him to shave later). Ultimately, it’s your decision. If you feel you have better chances with a beard, I won’t try to change your mind 😊

Honestly, Emirates generally doesn’t hire applicants who are 30+. It’s not written anywhere, but it seems to be an unspoken practice. I haven’t flown with anyone who joined after 30. I would say 28 and 29, yes, but not beyond that. There might still be some exceptions, but they’re extremely rare. As for height, I’m sorry to hear that. You should be fluent in English, as it is the main language of communication. I believe you need at least an Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate level to start. Eventually, you will improve even more. However, if your level is below Intermediate (preferably Upper-Intermediate), it’s better to work on your English before applying.
