Gidle is pretty much Cube's only big pillar in the company. No disrespect to the other groups in Cube, but Gidle is their main money maker for the company. I have no doubt Gidle will leave Cube once their contract expires in less than a year. The only way i can see them doing to try keep Gidle with them is if they are willing to give them a contract that is more favorable to groups demands. Otherwise, Cube is in big trouble.

What did they do to CLC? Im I'm cheshire and have to say Im thankful they have given them so many concepts despite selling very horrible. Other company's would've disbanded them fast but cube didn't. I know they didn't got lightstick or concerts but they weren't selling good so why bother? It's still a business and if it's not gonna profit them then I can understand it even as a Fan. At first I was always mad at Cube especially since I'm a Beast/Highlight Fan but even there it was their right everything that happened.

honestly I think people needed to have experienced that era in order to judge the 4Minute dilemma that it was. up until Bubble Pop by Hyuna, none of the members were sticking out drastically. and naturally by the success and how viral Hyuna's solo song went (Change was also popular, that was her first solo song, but Bubble Pop was that one hit that made her famous as a solo artist basically), CUBE took that and made it even bigger and better with Hyuna. Gayoon and Jiyoon eventually did have a sub-unit called 2Yoon but it flopped hard. Gayoon was also acting and doing OSTs (Jiyoon did OSTs as well), the other members Jihyun and Sohyun were basically non-existent to the public eye. I'm not saying Hyuna wasn't favoured by CUBE, but I don't think they knew how to market the other girls and make them shine like Hyuna did, they just didn't do it right and also looking back ... 4Minute never took off like the other groups that debuted around the same time. even their labelmates BEAST were more popular than them back then and their sales could even at least somewhat comepare to the most popular groups at the time. when 4Minute released HATE, that was actually at their height of their career and then it was announced that it would be their last release before their disbandment, it came out of nowhere for us fans (4nia) and it was a shock at the time. it was never revealed why they truly disbanded, but it's kind of self-explanatory at the end of the day. too much sh*t happened, also mismanagement, favouritism, lack of care and support for the group from the company, the members probably dissatisfied and angry about several things, sales and fanbase weren't as big as others and that's pretty much what it was I think.

Pls you make it sound Cube is the reason for Hyuna's success when in reality it was all thanks to her name and sole reason she's pushed is because she's the only one that brings money. It's just the same as G-Idle and their push from cube, because they bring the money in as well. No matter how hard you push an idol or a group, only a few come out on top and Hyuna is one of them. This is why every other Cube group is pretty much dead while G-Idle is releasing albums left and right, because they're the one that brings money in.

The difference is, 2NE1 with YG were a huge success and YG is not stupid enough to not notice their impact in the industry and not allow them a comeback. Huhh CLC's story just breaks my heart so much as a cheshire whenever I revisit it.... Like such a good group with talented members who really wanted what's best for the group. Like I really miss CLC so much.... Even now members are still having trouble with their own separate companies. However i'm glad that the members bonds with each other is strong and they are interacting with each other... like today we got a Yujin and Seungyeon interaction. Hopefully when the time is right the crystals (CLC Members) can come together and have a comeback again.

Oh please, (G)I-DLE is leaving CUBE, the girls have pretty much hinted at that. But I think they will regroup under a different label and manage their solo activities. There's the theory that they are secretly involved with Soojin's label considering it was formed by a Chinese man with no background in entertainment who's doing everything for only one controversial artist and the fact Soyeon stated she wanted to start her own company and was spotted with PSY's business card who she could have called for advice on how to start her own company at the time. It's going to be interesting. Soyeon definitely holds all the cards, and although Idle might leave, I'm not sure they'd establish their own label. I don't think Soyeon wants to add all the paperwork a CEO has to do on top of everything else she does. So as long as Cube surrenders on their remaining demands (better office for Minnie, the return of Soojin, etc) they might be willing to stay a few more years. I understand Cube has taken out a seven million dollar loan so they might be building up their Idle dowry.

Their group name, image, songs, all of their work etc are property of the company, not the Idols. That's how this industry works. Even if Soyeon and company lost their rights to everything Idle, Soyeon/Minnie/Yuqi would simply sit down and start banging out more songs. We already know the Captain has a ton of songs stashed away (that Cube hasn't registered) and Minnie/Yuqi are getting pretty good at writing songs themselves. Plus, Soojin would probably return to (Re)I-dle giving them another boost. The girls would simply set up shop somewhere else and start banging out more hits. Not to mention Cube would be in deep shit having lost their golden goose and earned the emnity of Idle's worldwide fanbase. YG is big enough that they can absorb (for a time) the 98% loss losing active Blackpink. Cube can't. If Idle goes, Cube is sunk. Also, remember Soyeon is now, along with IU and Boa, a voting member of the powerful Korean Copyright Association. Would you really want to take a complaint to the Association knowing Soyeon is one of the people deciding the complaint's fate? (IU and Boa aren't likely to be more sympathetic either.) I repeat. I still think Soyeon/Idle have the high ground and that Cube will fold and give them what they want.

It's interesting though that even with the public perception of Hyuna leaving being a financial hit to the company the business reports never indicated that. Both BTOB, then Pentagon and later G-Idle had very good streams and stable sales that overtook any possible loss. However despite all the issues in between the biggest influx of leaving happened after a downwards turn in business numbers from 2022. That's not because of the groups who were performing monetarily better than ever but due to Cube's investment in the metaverse and it's fail later on they lost an incredible sum of money. The mentioned Lightsum Comeback was only one, but the Pentagon Comeback in the same time was cancelled as well, many of the staff were let go and entertainment promotions got less and less for all groups and actors. Since the company can't ensure a base infrastructure anymore for the majority of their artists they are just leaving whenever they can now or like in Hongseok and Yoo Seonho's case buying themselves out of their contract.

If (G)I-DLE were to not resign with CUBE and choose to sign with the BIG3 & HYBE here's what I think if they move to that company: SM: NOT GOOD - They already have æspa as a representative girl group for the 4thGen era adding another girl group to that mix would be like a mess JYP would likely do. Their style of music may not match SM's color, Soyeon is also very particular about her group's sound and SM is not to lenient about artistic freedom when it comes to their female artists. YG: NOT TOO BAD - YG does not have any representative girl group for their 4thGen so adding I-DLE to that would be a good move. They prioritize artistic freedom in YG and they provide a comfortable room for their producers to work in which is a plus for Soyeon, Yuqi, and Minnie. The only downside is the YG formula of less is more or the the quality over quantity regarding their artists' songs which could lessen I-DLE's appearance in the public eye. JYP: NOPE - 4 words, TOO MANY GIRL GROUPS. HYBE: HELL NAH - While I-DLE's sound could match HYBE's style it is overpopulated with groups. Plus, HYBE does not know how to managed multiple girl groups. The real best move for (G)I-DLE is to establish their own company so they can have control over anything they want OR sign with Soojin's company so ot6 can be reunited again.

Gidle is leaving. We all know it, all the girls have blatantly said how terrible the company is and alway side eye the cameras when they “praise” the company awkwardly. I think they will take the route of BTOB and make their own company, Soyeon writes most of their music now, not the company, and they decide on the concepts, music videos and fashion. CUBE is basically nothing to them now but the place they are under contract but I wouldn’t be surprised if they easily form their own company and get the funds right away from investors as they have been getting more and more popular as they have been given more freedoms. And let’s not forget, this freedom happened because CUBE had basically given up on them but still needed a girl group active so the girls just worked with what little the company gave them and rose up because of the hard work they put in. Now cube is realizing how profitable Gidle is but they girls already have been over them for years.

There is no reason for them to stay with Cube since they already do almost all of the work and should be getting 100% of the profits (minus staff costs). I think they'll leave Cube and either join another medium sized company that will give them more freedom and manage them better or start their own company. I also think that it's G-idles and Nevies hope that they can reunite with Soojin.

The wildest thing for me is that Cube never show their determination to get better or to improve. As a neverland, I always hear them (not only gidle) complaining not only about mismanagement but also inadequate facilities provided by the company (Old building, dark practice room, small room etc.). It raise the question more since the company supposed to gain a lot of money from gidle and also influence. Did the company never learn business management or do they not know about investment and its benefit from doing it???? The only way Cube could salvage anything at this rate is by truly investing and nurturing idols they have. Communicating with them and giving them what they need will help them grow, become more successful and actually enjoy their time in the company. Cube is neglecting idols who aren't necessarily bringing in cash but how are they meant to bring in cash if you ain't giving them the tools to do so. I genuinely feel terrible for those who's dream it was to debut and the fact that they ended up in Cube to do so was just a waste of their energy and talent and most importantly could actively be destroying their mental health. I always hated how they treated 4mintue and then when they kicked out Hyuna like that I was dumbfounded. I even have a video 😅. Their ego got the best of them in almost every situation. Cube was projected to be apart of the big 4 back when beast and 4mintue was promoting because they was so successful.

Yanan are nowhere to be seen after Feelin' Like comeback.. were he also did same strategy or technics or tactics like what LAY did to EXO.. ended the exclusive contract WITHOUT having a mess up file lawsuit.. but still remains "friends" Pentagon...😅

Sm already expressed their how they like gidle and soyeon so it would be bad choice for themb ut if they want creative freedom (cause idk if sm would be the same or even better in case of music ) they should try to fight for their grroups name and make their own company!

Cube ruined two of my favorite GGs, 4 Minute and CLC, so no sympathy here. - As for (G)-Idle: as long as she is getting a ton of money Soyeon will stay, and since others are probably not doing all that badly either they will stay as well. When they will sense that they got all they could they will leave.

ok. blame cube for some things, but let's be honest it is a business, and they need artist to make money in order to promote comebacks, they were not a company making money easy, their artist weren't bringing in enough profit. Kpop is hard to break through, there are 3 companies out there dominating the market and debuting groups that rise w/ out working hard to earn their spots.
