What do you think about planting clover if there’s a lot of natural clover? I can’t go anywhere in the woods or fields without finding clover in my area.

We wouldn't shy away from planting a clover food plot really in any situation. They're very productive.

What's best herbicide for weed control? We used Butyrac 200 just but didn't have any surfactant to mix with it. Could that be why didn't see great result? We use clethodim for grasses.

Look at Domain Hot Chic, it’s a clover and chicory mix. Perennial, shade tolerant, drought tolerant, grows in dirt with poor PH, and minimal ground prep. As close to a throw and grow as you could hope for. I just clear the ground so dirt is exposed and throw it out.
