it’s been revealed back in August of this year that the writers of Sonic The Hedgehog movie were called by WB to write Tom and Jerry (2021). But WB executives get rid of Pat Casey because they don’t want the cat and mouse to be the main focus.

I’ve been a fan of the cat mouse duo, even though the old T&J movie was bad because they talk, this movie is acceptable, and the human Kayla was actually worth watching

To me, the Tom and Jerry movie was a big surprise for me because I was completely unaware that a actual movie was made and when I saw the trailer I was completely blown away cause I never seen anything like this,not only have I not seen Tom and Jerry since I was little but I was super surprised it was in live action and that even increase my excitement,as soon as the film come out I came to the theater (which was empty and unjoyful) I watched it with my family and I loved it. Yeah this film is not great but their are key moments that I quite enjoy such as the main duo Tom and Jerry,it was great to see them again and coming in live action made it even better because it feeled like a friendly reunion that I did not know was coming,the humor was funny as always,yes i am aware they don't make sense but hey this is Tom and Jerry,and the animation,now I get it live action plus animation don't tend to be popular as animation but look at the works,the design of each character is accurate and the amount of moment makes it feel unique and fun,especially *ever - single - shade - or - lighting* , as for flaws the humans are alright I get it humans aren't prevalent in the show but hey at least their are some stars that are known,it would have been cool if just the characters from the show or Tom and Jerry themselves to just be animated no other animals just the Tom and jerry themselves so that it could feel like they have come to our world yet they feel like just another adventure to them.

I love the movie but yeah I only recall laughing like possibly only once and maybe a slight giggle in some parts but either way would prefer small shorts than a film although if they do make a sequel I’m all for it and hope it will be better than the first one.

Happy Friday Cartoon Junkies! I adore your video more than the movie lol! I honestly wish this was a positive comment about the movie, but unfortunately, it will NOT be. I grew up on Tom and Jerry and I admit as an adult now I was looking forward to seeing my favorite cartoon characters in action again. Sadly, the movie was an EXTREMELY disappointing experience for me. To be honest, I got so bored that I fell asleep on it lol so I never finished the movie. I agree with all your well-thought-out and humorous points. It had unlikeable characters, bad acting, predictable twists, and Tom and Jerry aren't the main characters! What?! Next time remove the humans and it will be a better movie instead it's a forgettable one for sure. Overall, this movie lacked good storytelling and felt more like a safe cash grab. With all that said, I do not hate the movie but I feel indifferent.

Why the wagonist hatred of this movie! At least the creators laughed all the way to the bank. I loved it! It seems many others loved it too. It’s slapstick hilarious. Brought back so many childhood memories. I’ll have to give the human characters props too, it must take a lot of skills to make sure they’re iSync with the “imaginary,” characters.

actually it is in another movie that is revealed that they could talk (tom and jerry ) , BUT they never did cause they were too busy playing with each other. i buy that , i mean when you play a game , you only talk if you are trash at it or just dont wanna play.

You know, concerning the issue cartoon from a dying generation a.k.a. The Quiet Generation is being reintroduced to a newer audience you'd think these corporation and film teams would have more respect for Tom and Jerry's formulaic properties. I mean how do you fuck up slap-stick so badly? Roger Rabbit and Looney Tunes: Back In Action did better than this.

First of all, Looney Tunes Back In Action was a huge flop and failure in the box office this movie did better. This movie is actually successful in the box office I like Looney tunes Back in Action but this movie did better in the box office

It would be my guess that they had to make it different. Too many sensitive Karen's these days. Cant have the violence and hijinks as the original. People would have it cancelled just like all the songs and storybooks from the past.
