@@Joseph96752 that would be incorrect….. works perfectly as it was intended to. It was not made to fix the pump, it is made to keep the metal from the pump failure from destroying the rest of your fuel system. Installed many of the prevention kits, and have replaced failed pumps with the kit installed, have never had to replace any other fuel system components when there is a prevention kit in place

@@Joseph96752 perfect example of incorrect. 😂😂 there are no cp3 conversions for the 6.7’s. Cp3 will not fit in the valley of a 6.7. There is now a DCR conversion that came out earlier this year. Yet disaster prevention kits are still way cheaper than the DCR kit.

Ford uses the cp4 pump because of the higher psi since it has more pressure that results in a finner mist out of the injectors which makes more power and better emissions. Might be a good idea to update the video

No the cp3 can go to 31bar when the cp4 can only go to 25bar and the cp3 pushes more fuel

Its ironic that all these pumps changed back to cp3 mod pump. Have many friends that had new trucks that the 4 pump has failed well before out of warranty.

Its the lifter cups rotating. Has nothing to do with contamination.
