Actually she did. After the fight with Ghidorah months after mind you, Godzilla went to a former den of his that he got kicked out of by a giant ape (yes apparently there are just loads of them wtf) but when he gets there the Ape is not there but Tiamat is just chilling in this den resting. Godzilla bursts in and she tried to kick him out. He nearly loses but manages to drag her onto dry land and stomp on her head so she submits and leaves him to have the den. Now years later Godzilla goes to Tiamat's new den and does the same fucking thing. Tiamat was not doing ANYTHING either time till Godzilla no-knock busted in her fucking door firing his atomic breath at her. Sorry but Godzilla was literally the one hunting her down attacking her while she wasn't doing anything. The only time she did damage was when Ghidorah ordered her too and ALL the titans did that.

Monarch calls her a destroyer, but WHY we have literally no history or accounts of her destroying anything save for when under Ghidorah's commands and ALL the titans did that including Behemoth and Methuselah. He's always tough as an anvil and The Guy with definitive ass-kicking ability, but it was great to see him have a real "oh lord, he's going to send someone home in a bodybag" kind of presence. He didn't blow it up. The atomic breath was a warning to leave because he needed the area. It was basically a challenge for her home. She accepted the challenge when she came out to fight. None are wrong. Godzilla needed the energy to ensure the oncoming threat could be handled. Tiamat could've left but she's never been on good terms with Godzilla and she decided to stay and fight. Godzilla already spared her before and here she's fighting to kill him. He didn't have time to play around since there was a bigger threat on the way. She also would've become a larger threat if she kept absorbing the energy, but Godzilla was prepared to deal with her later because he had more urgent matters at the time. If she left she would've lived.

She's a wasted titan because she actually has special abilities. She never uses them for some reason, which I can only call bad writing. She can release a bioelectrical beam and can control water so much she can move other Titans around in it. Maybe she did it in the comic and that's how Godzilla ended up underwater but she never uses her abilities in the film. Unfortunate because her design was really cool and unique.

scylla's role in the monsterverse is to keep the ice in antacrtica cold, but she rebelled and decided to instead heat the ice up, going against godzilla's rule. she then intentionally destroyed buildings, intentionally caused human casualties to become stronger which godzilla probably deemed a threat to his throne. in gxk: the hunt, the antagonist of the book placed beacons in multiple places so they could distract godzilla, but tiamat got there first to both destroy the beacon and the general area, like italy. godzilla did it so he could also grow stronger and then evolve to hold 20x more radiation/energy.

I do believe that Godzilla was in the right to kill both Scylla and Tiamat due to a number of factors like disobedience, nuclear hunger, potential power, and heating up the ice caps. Scylla was growing exponentially more powerful through the radiation she was absorbing from the nuclear power plants and despite having pledged her loyalty in the 2019 film, Scylla has had a history of disobeying Godzilla. As for Tiamat, well Godzilla traveled to the Arctic Ocean, which has the planet’s largest natural radiation deposit that Godzilla needed in preparation for the arising threat he would later go on to face and because Godzilla knew that Tiamat wouldn’t willingly let him in without a fight as well as the fact that she actually managed to beat Godzilla in the past, Tiamat could’ve become much more powerful by means of constant radiation absorption. Godzilla wasn’t going on some kind of "mad rampage.” He knew there was an existential crisis emerging within the depths of the hollow earth and with titans like Scylla and Tiamat threatening the balance of nature as well as getting in Godzilla’s way of a cataclysmic event, it could have led to disastrous consequences and Godzilla dealt with it swiftly and accordingly.
