Gta online itself is not garbage... but the players who play it are garbage... They don’t want to play deathmatches anymore. All what they want to do is play heists, screw up, start from the beginning, screw up again, start from the beginning, screw up again, get angry, cuss each other out, close the game. Come back after 2 hours and do it all over again. They just dont want to play these fun death matches.

People that attempt to fry your platform by over lagging you out of he game (mostly from modders or anti-breach defenses [like a DDOSer's game crashed because they wanted to boot someone offline].) The freemode missions were introduced so you wouldn't have to deal with that many loading screens. While i agree with the game is a hot mess, i can't agree with you saying the connectivity issues haven't been addressed. They certainly aren't as bad as they used to be and r* have said they can't revamp the servers without risking permanent damage to the servers, which would mean GTA online would go away forever. It definitely has a lot of issues tho

It's a burning heap of trash I somehow managed to pour more time into than any other game. The best moments are just messing about with friends and doing missions, but rockstar instead focuses on these shitty grindy businesses where other players can destroy your stuff and thus your profit. Why not focus on contact missions instead? Those are actually fun to do. Pvp is also one of those things.. They completely wrecked it, then fixed it only to wreck it even more. All these silly vehicles like flying bikes and rocket cars would be fine by me if they weren't weaponized, but they can't release anything nowadays without giving it missiles and such. Even then, an interesting metagame came up with certain vehicles countering others, like the half track completely dominating players on foot, but being wrecked by a tank, which in turn gets countered by attack helicopters. Sadly even this accidentally fun pvp was ruined by the Opressor MKII, which can only be countered by itself and one other vehicle you can only have for 20 minutes and has a cooldown of a hour, while the MKII can be spawned in seconds.

Let alone all the console players, there's absolutely no chance of you getting a headshot on a fast moving opressor MKII, unless you get plain lucky. No matter how your aim is, a sniper isn't a good counter for the opressor MKII. You're moving slowly on the ground while trying to aim, and it's really easy to kill on foot players with the MKII once you get the hang of it. It's not like a halftrack vs khanjali, where one's practically guaranteed victory.

Rockstar seriously should've taken some lessons on Networking because GTA V Online is horribly unstable. Obviously there's not much to expect from a P2P game, but it's their fault for doing so. Hey ! I played gta online when it first came out, it was only on PS3 and Xbox 360 and let me tell you playing online up until 2015 was one of the greatest online experiences I ever had. I even convinced my girlfriend to play it with me. But sadly after the next gen consoles and the PC release, I felt the game lacked the heart it did when it first came out. The community was cheating more often and the maps for DM just were a bunch of crappy player made maps that said “1000000 RP if you play” that was the literal name of some of the player made maps. So yeah it was good at one point. But now it’s a trashy flying car mess. No one asked you Rockstar sorry 😐

Enemies in GTA online are very poorly designed. They shoot with pinpoint accuracy and hit for WAY TOO MUCH damage! Way too hard for solo players like me. A remeberable moment of mine un the normal GTA 5 is when my younger brother is doing Taxi Sevices and he is going fast on a intersection and hits car and that one song is playing that goes like duh duh du du duh duh du du du du da du and he's causing cars to explode all over the place. This is what I think when I think of GTA 5.

The only real way I managed to have fun in GTA Online is to use mods. **not to blow up other players**

I have an account that got permanently banned, but I used a fuckton of cheats and mods on that, and have gotten several hour, a day, a week and month temporary bans. I had another one that got hacked, I used menus on that too like crazy, I had like 300 million that I earned in 2 minutes, it never got banned. The best you can do is always look for the newest ones, and don't get reported for using it for blowing and freezing other players.

Having to PAY for a CAR in a game called Grand Theft AUTO is the dumbest thing ever. I loved single player but i never enjoyed Online unless i was with a friend and even then the fetch missions and just endless driving burnt me out.

Pay for play ruined the game, it feels like they intentionally made the missions annoying and laughably under paying so you’d have to pay for in game money. 5 heists and one of them is fun and pays something. 3 of the missions are almost impossible with idiot online players. Whats the point of an open world game if you cant rob banks? Or drug houses? Or the horse track? The armored truck carried 2,000$ in cash 😂. They’re ruining their own game. I threw mine in the trash.

Tbh the way rockstar treats Their employees overworking them if amazing they are still a company at all I heard horrible things from my boyfriend who went to school for game development. His teacher worked for Rockstar and told him stories about them overworking their programmers to the point of them complaining. And of course they fired them as soon as they did only later on to find they needed the person they fired. The community in GTA V online is horrible with no moderation and people killing you every 5 seconds. You can not steal any high end cars because Rockstar wants you to buy them. If you wanna go to the military base in online you will find no tanks or planes for you to steal like in single player. My guess is because they want you to spend money for that stuff too. And again like the video says Rockstar is just waiting for you to buy shark cards. GTA is dying and the company who made it is treating people like garbage.

I used to love driving a car around a corner to kill a player that killed me awhile ago only to find out that he was actually in a tank and not on foot. Then basically having a boss fight with them using an RPG from rooftops. That was fun. Now that player that killed you awhile ago turns out to actually be waiting around his Opressor Mark II so you think he is going to be a fair fight. Then he hops on it, kills you 5 times without you being able to do anything back because he flies 8 miles away every time he kills you but still somehow manages to get in range to kill you again within 12 seconds. And he squeaks into his mic for his friends and you get blasted by an orbital cannon. Have a man with a jetpack fly over in his underwear to back up his friend on the opressor. Get bombarded by a Hydra. And after dying 137 times to them escape them finally and then get blown up by a stealth tank that was off the radar the whole time waiting for you to try and run.

oh club promotion? doesn't earn much money, but it could be fun to have a club (you can now be seen on the map with the truck) wait what? *gets blown up by a lvl 10000 play on a flying bike) 10/10 would never do anything fun in this game again

I love gta v online, i do jobs get money and everything, if they kill me MULTIPLE TIMES i put passive mode
