I don't think there was every a Halo game that sounded bad. Sure, some sounded like they were not Halo but that didn't mean that they sounded bad. I think the composers for Halo 4 and 5 were great. I know i'm in the minority, but I actually really like the movement in 5. The clamber and charge feels great in the campaign. Movement has never felt this smooth or (strangely enough) Spartan-like. That's not to say I don't like the old movement style, I grew up with it, but I do looooove the movement in the new ones.

Consumer of Souls and cupcakes old gameplay would get boring very quickly for the majority nowadays. Maybe a classic playlist like Halo 5 has every once in a while, they're not as popular as they used to be. Seems like more ppl would rather have the new gameplay over the old, from experience. Myself included. Halo 5 brought back the balance ppl love about Halo, unlike reach and 4 which many hated even today for their unbalanced and overall not very fun multiplayer. There's no such thing as a wrong opinion lmao but hey, the facts and numbers don't lie. I didn't believe it until I saw it and, well, turns out the new gameplay is a LOT more popular than what you're giving it credit for. Yeah the slow, classic gameplay is fun but it's not going to sell the game. Ppl would get bored very quickly and then rip Halo 😂 343 even tested the waters with it, didn't look too good tbh.

It's worth pointing out that those "alien deer and rhinos" may well not be alien at all - they look a _lot_ like real-life prehistoric deer and rhinos, which combined with the cave writing suggests that this Halo may have been used as a nature preserve for life that existed on Earth 100,000 years ago before the rings fired. Would make for a super cool setting for the game, if so!

My first shooter and console game was combat evolved. I was little and got scared by that beginning explosion and would kill that guide sometimes. As I got a bit older I remember playing halo multiplayer and it was fun as hell. I hope they bring back the old sharp energy blade sound tho sounded pretty good, although I think the 4 and 5 designs look cool but it looks too wierd for halo, like prisimy. this video needs more views. i know it came out today but still. when i saw your first reaction video you made it seem like (from your laugh; at least from my perspective) that u were "like look at their pathetic attempt at trying o go back to the old art style" but now that I've gotten your full analysis on this trailer i'm happy that u appreciate their attempts at making halo look and feel like halo again. I am excited for this new halo. I was afraid for the series. when i saw halo 4 it had a similar feel to the original trilogy but now that the war was over there wasn't a sense of desperation and urgency of humanity being wiped out and The Didact felt out of place. when halo 5 came back i was happy to see buck as a returning character but he felt water down compared to the buck from ODST. i would love to for them to bring back DARE if shes still alive and have them be on a spartan team as well (IDK if she still alive i don't really read the books)

For those of you who haven't read the books, let me fill you in on something. *There are humans on Zeta Halo* they were the humans that were devolved by the didact and then composed. But it only makes sense that the Humans would be repopulated back onto the the ring after it fired. Just imagine chief teaming up with some like tribal dudes with badass forerunner spears! So Cool!

I’m pretty sure that they would re-populate the rings with humans after the firing because mankind is supposed to reclaim the mantle. So if mankind on earth goes Extinct, they’d probably want a backup on installation 07. Besides if it had really been 100,000 years since the last humans had been on the ring than there would be no sign of them at all. Assuming that erosion works the same way it does on earth, than anything the ancient humans built would be dust by now. So if they’re going to show us Hiroglyphs and ring shaped Monuments, than either the Humans are still alive on the surface or they went extinct recently.

Halo CE Magnum Uuh, no. Not everything would be dust. Many things from a long time ago are still up and fine these days. However, I assume that the Halo rings have a bigger Coriolis effect, therefore, more erosion, because of their circonference (maybe diameter?) of 10 000 km, which is smaller than Earth's. In fact, on Earth, the higher you are and the bigger your latitude, the bigger the Coriolis effect. Furthermore, why would they leave humans on the ring, when they already gave us the Dreadnought/portal to the Ark on Voi? The Forerunners have always been mysterious with Humans about us finding their artifacts. Plus, this is just speculation, but it is much more probable for those Humans that would potentially have been left on the ring to evolve differently from those on Earth, that is mostly considering the environment being different on the ring, so why would they want the Human species to bifurcate? Moreover, it would introduce a new phenotype to one of Halo species, and we all know how the community felt regarding this kind of thing for the Elites, Jackals and Grunts.

Kurt -051 Yes everything would be dust. Either eroded away or buried by topsoil. There’s no way that if those ring structures are human they’d be standing after 100,000 years of super ring erosion. As for why they’d have humans on the Rinf, like I said it was a Plan B. If humans on earth nuked each other they could just earth with life ensuring that humans would rise up to claim the mantle no matter that’s happened. As for them evoloving separately, a forerunner Gene song could make that impossible. All the forerunners would have to do is programs their genetic Destiny into the people the first seeded the ring with, which is something they have done before. Idk I just think it would be cool to have like tribal dudes running around throwing forerunner spears at elites, but I guess there is a chance they never re-seeded the rings with human life.

Skoot Ski People over-estimate the fans of Halo 5's gameplay. They are a tiny minority of the Halo fanbase. They just seem to be relevant because they are a vocal minority who are currently playing this game that is Halo in name only. Majority of Halo fans have been somewhat silent waiting for Halo to one day return to it's original trilogy form. Trying to please Halo 5's fanbase is pointless because they make up such a small portion of the targeted market. 2 playlists will not work. They would have to make vertically and horizontally stretched out maps that wouldn't work in classic Halo gameplay. There is no middle ground.

To think that I was in third grade when the first halo launched and still love the series to this day. I could not have been more excited for a halo game I think than this. I absolutely adore this franchise and to know that at least something in my life is guaranteed to go at least half way right is just what I needed. A possible theory for the story to defeat Cortana is that in Halo 4 she states that to her knowledge she is the only AI made of living tissue, a clone of Halsey's brain, and that perhaps to save her from rampancy is that they clone more tissue and upload it to Cortana to "rejuvenate her" basically. So Chief could get cloned brain tissue data from Halsey and upload it into Cortana in a sort of virus or something. This could be what Chief does to stop her from being Galactic Space Dictator Cortana.

Exact my thoughts, damned, after seeing that trailer, i couldnt hold my excitment, i literly was standig up and jumping around! This was just like back in 2002 when i got myself a Xbox with Halo Combat Evolved, i played this game countless of hours, even more in coop, playthrough on legandary difficulty with my cousin, this was so much fun, the story, the enviroment, the physics, the mystery, we realy need this kind of Halo back with a story you can enjoy, that last long and got a high replay factor, then im happy but only then!
