Great video. Good to see you. Was concerned that you might have made a serious change and went high and tight.

I thought my beard had stopped growing at about 5-6" but it's now 10" long. I just stopped measuring it as often and let it do it's own thing and kept up my grooming regime. Great vlog as always, thank you Trav 😀🙌

My hair has actually been getting shorter for the last few years. It was halfway down my gluteal cleavage and doing fine. I trim it infrequently to remove split ends and even it. For the last few years it just gets shorter at each trim and now it does not even reach my belt. I have a great diet, use multi-vitamins and am very fit for my age (69), sleep well, etc. Methinks age has something to do with it. I am not balding and hardly thinning. Anyway thanks for the info. Pretty in depth. Really appreciate that you provided some of the science of hair growth. Cheers!

Nice video! Information is quality. Honestly been watching to many women oriented hair vids, nice to see some decent, not overly flashy, just informative videos for guys. Information here is the same as what the more reputable women oriented videos give, I learned even a little more here.

You are so right. I am vegetarian and my hair grows so low and very thin and fragile it falls so easy.

I was vegetarian for several years so I know what you mean lol a good multi vitamin and some whey protien helps out a ton

@@TheLyingFigure good for you man I am happy you were vegetarian. Does whey protein really help you with hair grow as eating meat would do? What vitamins do you recommend? Thank you for your advices friend :)
@TheLyingFigure
@TheLyingFigure 9 ай бұрын
@alonsoquirosgranados7568 most higher quality whey protein will have a few grams worth of essential amino acids so it makes up for not having a varied source of proteins in your diet. MyProtien is good and cheap plus plenty of influencers have discount codes for it. For multi vitamin I like the brand Thorne but like any of them you'd find at Walmart are probably fine tbh

I've been growing my hair out for the first time. Your videos have definitely helped me. I'm currently in a faze where my hair is getting long. My bangs go down to my nose, but my hair is about shoulder length. I think I just can't really tell it's growing, but it's in that awkwardness where it's not long enough to put in a bun, but it's long enough that I want to do something with so I just end up pushing it back hoping in the next few months it will be long enough.

Would split ends stunt hair growth? My hair is down to my nips already, but I haven't gone to get it cut yet.

It doesn't cause your hair to stop growing but it will break off at the ends so your not going to gain any length, my advice is go get the split ends trimmed every 6 weeks it was the best decision I made

I've had my hair not grow for at least 3 years. I used to have it colored at the ends and the ends disappeared slowly in a bit over a year. So mine is breaking at or close to the growing speed?

I have a middle part and long hair, but my left side is like exactly half the length of the rest of my hair, it goes from the front of my face and then gets long again in the back. I havent cut it in like 5 years so whys it doing that??

Men have it more difficult I mean when you decided to grow your hair you start with really short hair, and for woman they always start at a medium lenght

Don't do it man. You can push through. I know it looks bad, but you'll get there. I was in the same boat as you, especially since I have curly hair and looked like a mushroom, but I'm a year in and it looking better and better every month. You got this

Don't give up, have patience and let it take it's natural growth course. Practice some plaits/braiding if it's long enough to do something with it. That's what I did and tbh, that's all I do now, either ponytail or plait it. My hair is so fine that it looks rubbish in a bun. Goes well with my long 10" goatie beard 😁 Work with what you have and be creative. Good luck 😀👍
