True, but the military strategist spoke true, Russia will have to allocate most of its forces to defense now, making the land they’ve taken far less likely to be held. Best case scenario the lands Russia took are returned to Ukraine, Crimea is brought back under ukrainian rule giving Russian civilians time to relocate.

The Chine know that when Russia loses this war, the US will replace Putin. A puppet like SSelenski will run Russia and the US will place nuclear weapons in the Russian/Chinese border. The Chinese will never allow that, so it's in their interests too, to keep NATO and the US out of Russia.
