They support his policies one of which gave us Blacks the lowest unemployment we've experienced in years. The job I was at hired so many Black people it was amazing; a Black manager, group leaders, a supervisor, and warehouse workers. Another thing, many of the problems in the Black community would be erased if we would get back to doing what our ancestors did. They married first then had children. Seventy-five percent of Black children are born in homes with no father; no wonder there is so much crime and poverty in our communities. Ministers need to get back to reminding believers what the Word of God has to say about sexual purity, marriage, and family. That would help a lot because many don't do it today.

From the colonial time up to now, White people have always been seen as superior and have always been privileged in Africa. It is a failure of faith. Faith is grounded in love. So if one loves the Lord Jesus that person knows that we are mandated to love. I have to pray every day for God to keep the hate out of my heart. I just saw a Billy Graham commercial speaking about the healing of this nation. It showed a African American man talking about how he in his own way was trying to bring us together. But I've seen other church people still fighting that 45 was cheated in the election. Im African American and as much as I would love to see us all come together in Christ 💘 sadly I don't know if we can. The most segregated hour is 11am Sunday morning. In the south especially during slavery the Bible was used to justify selling beating and all horrors of the slave trade. When plantation owners would let the slaves come together a overseer was present. And since reading was forbidden the slave minister was told what to preach. The one scripture that was always used was slaves be obedient to your masters. And masters were told to treat the slave justly. This thinking held for so long that when the Southern Baptist college came out with a apology some of the churches left the organization. This is sad. All of the televangelist who were so against President Obama were quick to take 45 as one of their own. Each man and woman has to search and pray to God as to what they want to do. America will get through this, but we must be honest enough to ask for forgiveness and not be so stuck in the political arena. We are taught to respect those who are in a position of authority. But not worship them.

I have found that denomination tribalism is what stands in the way most of the time. Churches remain segregated for the most part currently. Children are not born racist, it is learned and reinforced by their parents.

I feel our nation is in what it is due to the lack of integrity and honesty of the church as indicated through scriptures from the very beginning of this nation. The church has been either Democratic, Republican, rather than THEOCRATIC. When God people choose to look to the world governments, like the Pharisees and Sadducees, they missed Jesus, his Disciples, the gospel, and reinvent their own version of the gospel. Which examples was played out throughout Paul's ministry and regions he spread the True gospel. We are experiencing the American gospel fallen. The American gospel is different if you are conservative, liberal, black, white, Latino, rich or poor, etc. The American gospel is subject to interpretation by the modern day Pharisees and Sadducees who's discussing things that has no bearing to the scriptures or to God's Kingdom that will come eventually and destroy all these kingdoms, including the U.S.A. I can't speak for God regarding America, and other nations who claim to be christian- driven. I don't want to be like Job's companions who was speaking well - but not according to God. They were almost kill by God because of it. But based on the history of this country's genocides. Inhumane deeds, crimes, injust policies, laws, wars internationally and internally - yet force to be the moral compass of the world, without judging itself and holding itself accountable-- is a disgrace and is being reveal now to the world. Most of the above mentioned was either started through the church under the (nation pride) banner or condone by the church based on their silences or complacency. Either way now people of the world see us as hypocritical or irrelevant. Now new generations are seeing religion particularly those who represent Christianity as responsible for the way things are now.

He then goes on to talk about the theory of what evangelicalism is supposed to be. He goes into his theories and ideas about what evangelical should mean. So, we have a difference between the objective reality of evangelical christianity and the theory of christianity. Thus, the obvious question, do you believe in objective reality OR this theory.
