Even if Goku were to beat 18, he would immediately have 17 and 16 to contend with and they’re stronger. Also, with him being their target in the first place, they would definitely not toy around with him.

Imagine if vegeta killed 19 and Dr. Gero right there in the desert and cell was able to just go to the lab and absorb 17 and 18 without even walking them up or alerting anyone. Imagine perfect cell just appeared and nobody was trained up or preparing to challenge him.

Cell became Perfect, knew nobody was a challenge and allowed them to train. No reason to think he’d do something different if he became perfect earlier. Remember, Cells whole shtick was “he’s the perfect being.” And he wanted to prove it.

Goku would been dog walked by Andoid 18 if it was a reverse scenerio. He would have lasted a little bit longer being slightly stronger but she beat Vegeta effortlessly she was toying with him. Even said "how does it feel to work so hard for so little" none of them were a threat to 16,17 or 18.

@6:58 I disagree with this statement for one unmentioned reason: Android 16. Android 16 made it pretty clear that killing Goku was his primary objective. Whether he'd sit back and let 18 take him on alone or jump in to fulfill his objective is unknown. For that reason, i'd put it at about 50/50 chance for either choice, and say Goku beats 18 in a hypothetical 1/20 times instead of 1/10. The only reason I'm not bringing up 17 is because he and 18, in spite of having the same objective as 16, didn't seem to care as much about it. He might've done the same as in the Vegeta vs 18 fight and stood by to handle any interference

@@zacbrown3797 Although this is true, Trunks fared very poorly against 17 when he tried to jump in to help Vegeta fight 18... Unless 18 is isolated from 17, he's neutralizing anyone who tries to jump in at this point in the story

@black2785 Seeing as Nappa stated they scaled in around Raditz's power level, and Raditz was far more powerful than Muten Roshi was when he blew up the moon, it's possible that a Saibaman could blow up a moon. However, I fail to see what this has to do with the video or my comment.

I always thought that had the Androids encountered Goku it would be a 3 on 1 fight as that’s the whole reason they were there. Assuming that Goku stopped them from waking up 16, he couldn’t handle the two of them together. Assuming that 16 is awake, Goku is quickly dead.

Only way Goku would "win" is if he acted so out of character it wouldn't be Goku any more. And it wouldn't be a fight either, it would either be a sneak-attack stealth assassination., or using the deactivation button. Therefore no, Goku couldn't win.

Veg would probably had won against 18 if he had taken her as a serious threat, instead of being high on his power. Power-scale wise he was actually above the level needed to both harm and therefor kill her. But, he got into his own hype. of course he would only had gotten one shot to do so. as for Goku.. he'd probably lose since the Androids weren't inherently evil and as such he wouldn't try to kill them and get killed himself.

If Goku fought 17 and 18 yes, he would probably have lost. But theres one important thing being overlooked: If Goku had been healthy enough to fight 19 he would have won like Vegeta did. Then when Gero tried to run Vegeta would have been at full power to chase him down and kill him instead of wasting time getting a Senzu. Therefore, 17 and 18 never activate at all.

That doesn't change the fact that Cell was already there. That wouldn't work to their benefit. Cell in just his imperfect state would annihilate them considering they wouldn't find a need to use HBTC anymore not would piccolo need to fuse with kami.

I agree that a healthy Goku wouldn't have beaten Android 18. However I think you are looking at the question of a healthy Goku from the wrong angle. If he was healthy he would've been able to beat Android 19 leaving Vegeta to block off the escape of Gero keeping him from making it to his mountain laboratory. If he doesn't make it Androids 16, 17 & 18 don't wake up. The big concern comes from Cell. Does he check Gero's lab for 17 & 18 after obtaining his bipedal form and obtain his perfect form before anyone knows about him?

I mean we have been shown time and time again that strength although being a major category isn't everything in a fight, that's why people like master roshi and krillin could be selected for the tournament of power.

I mean, a fighter doesn’t have to be that much stronger than 17 or 18 to win. They need to be superior in 1 of a few categories while being at least relative in raw strength and speed. Better technique, speed, fight IQ, or raw strength would work against the androids depending on how much greater someone is than the androids. 17 and 18 have unlimited stamina but aren’t invulnerable or immune to taking damage during a fight. So, someone who is matched in speed and power with the androids with more polished techniques and a higher fight I.Q. could do things to damage 17 or 18 during a fight which will reduce the level of power and speed they can output. Like breaking their joints and whatever their skeleton is made of. They don’t regenerate like piccolo or cell. It would be a very tough battle and someone of equal strength and speed to the androids would have to start off with a strategy to weaken then since 17 and 18 can go all out from the start and continue to do so the entire fight. But if you have a broken bone stamina isn’t going to make it not broken.

Vegeta had a strong base when I finally unlocked SSJ than Goku did when he unlocked it. That might explain Piccolo's assessment of their strength differences

I still find it odd that only Goku got the virus despite being around other people for so long. Goku lives in the middle of nowhere and we never really saw anything that amounted to a neighborhood, yet he still got sick. Was there ever an explanation for the virus?

What if Nail went with Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta to fight the Ginyu Force? 👀

Ginyu would take the DragonBall to frieza. The others fight but it's a much closer match as nail is on par with the other ginyu members. Frieza would have tortured guru not knowing he was already an inch from death. Guru dies earlier, frieza tells ginyu to kill the others. Ginyu comes back and sees his comrades struggling so steps in and kills nail, vegeta, gohan and krillin fall easier. Goku arrives, shows off his battle power and either frieza steps in for ginyu and kill goku or ginyu does the body swap and frieza and ginyu leave namek wishes unfulfilled. Goku either left for dead or killed by frieza or ginyu

Naw nail would have lasted a lot longer than that. Goku was at 60k base. ​Vegeta and nail were close in power with Vegeta having a slight edge. But him and nail actually working together is a problem. @@danielsilva-ds2u

@sky-oq5mr ginyu is 120k. Nail wouldn't last one minute. Gokus base was 90k bc kaiokenx2 puts him at 180k. and nail was stronger than vegeta. Vegetas full power is "upwards 30k" as jeice put it so at best 35k, but most people just put vegeta at 30k at this point. Nail is 42k.

I actually think Goku would win android 18, think about it Goku in dragon ball z was called the greatest martial artist of all time what he doesn't have in strength and speed he would make up for it in techniques we all know that when Goku is backed into a corner when fighting against a stronger opponent he begins to adapt to the opponents fighting style, and finds openings in his opponent he is also shown to use other people's techniques when he is backed into a corner so I think he would be able to actually beat her

Id have to say 16 would not have allowed 17 nor 18 to go first. He was too gunho to fight Goku and not wanting to fight any of the Z fighters proves he'd step in vs Goku and take out Goku no problem.

This scenario plays out with goku fighting 18 in much the same way goku did against freeza when they first scrapped. He’ll be tactical and last longer but eventually he will Burn out. The only other possibility is that 18 gets jumped because she couldn’t handle them all but 17 would step in and 16 was on full terminator mode with his directive. Same result.

Bruh...no. Vegeta was stated to be much stronger than Goku. Hell he ragdolled 19 after he absorbed Goku SSJ power while base form. Goku would get slaughtered. He can't use instant transmission to fight either since they have no ki. He's screwed

@@sky-oq5mr Well, Vegeta was most certainly stronger than Goku at that point, so logically speaking, should have been able to defeat at least two of the androids, if it wasn't for his ego or rather if the writers didn't hate him. But from a plot armour point of view, Goku would be more likely to beat the Androids, if it wasn't for the heart virus (obviously). So yes and no, I was only half right when I said that.

I have always thought a "healthy" Goku would have been stronger than Vegeta but not enough to matter as he wouldnt have been able to beat 17 or 18 at that point.imo
