@@logangodofcandy Thanos has beaten the entire Avengers on multiple occasions, including Hulk and Thor at the same time...and that is with no extra power boost. In both their first big fight in Avengers first annual and in the more recent Infinity comic (not infinity gauntlet, yes he beats them there but he has the gauntlet so doesn't count), Thanos takes Thor and Hulk on, and in Infinity it was also with captain marvel and Hyperion at the same time. Thanos has soloed Silver Surfer, Gladiator, and other cosmic characters on occassion too. There does be a trend lately to have people beating Thanos more easily though. Also Kirby didn't create or write for Thanos, Jim Starlin created him and wrote most of his early career. After the "Thanos Copter" incident Starlin actually got it in his contract that he was the only one allowed to write Thanos for awhile...though eventually that ran out cuz others have obviously written for him. Thanos is way deeper than Darkseid. yeah Darkseid is more powerful, but he's boring, Thanos has some pretty serious depth if you actually read his Jim Starlin years writing. His whole relationship and unrequited love with death, and how he created his own self defeats everytime because he didn't think he was worthy of the power he kept getting...the dude was actually a pretty good representation of depression at first. In most recent years his writing has been all over the place of course, cuz lots of writers have gotten their hands on him.

Homelander is just a big bully, Thanos in the MCU is considered to be one of the best martial artist in the universe, just look at his punches hitting on Hulk's kidney and chest alone, it's design to stop adrenaline and weakened the body adrenaline rush. Thanos hits are precise, deadly accurate and quick like he has been to so many countless death battles. How can you compare a big school bully against someone who is on level of Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris? Okay, so there are versions of Hulk that could take out Thanos, but the normal version of Hulk that we see in the MCU, he's pretty darn powerful and Thanos takes him out without the help of his subordinates or his army with ease. He didn't even break much of a sweat taking the Hulk out in under a minute. In fact, I think it was under 30 seconds that he took the Hulk out in the MCU. Now even though he's one of the weaker versions of Hulk that we've seen, still pretty darn powerful. It took one punch to take out one of the giant alien worm things that we see flying around in the first Avengers movie and that's the same version of Hulk that got taken out in under 30 seconds by Thanos in the MCU. That's just insane to me. Now that version of Hulk in the MCU is able to take out Homelander most definitely. 9.9 times out of 10 take out Homelander. Now if Thanos beat that Hulk, I don't see Homelander putting up much of a fight against Thanos, let alone Thanos's entire army with or without Thanos included with the army. 1v1 Thanos wins the entire army going up against Homelander. I just see that Thanos army winning 9.9 times out of 10 and then a hundred percent of the time taking out Homelander with Thanos with the army or without the army taking out Homelander. Thanos is just way too powerful with and without the Infinity Stones for Homelander.

Agree Thanos wins. His massive durability is probably too much for Homelander to overcome. And mainly to your last point, Homelander isn't a good fighter. He's stronger than all his opponents, so he just overpowers them. But against Thanos, who has centuries of war combat experience, and is extremely skilled and intelligent in combat, Homelander's cooked. I think it'd go kinda like this: They meet, Homelander tries to heat vision Thanos. Thanos tanks it, so Homelander tries again with full heat vision power, it gets blocked / tanked / dodged and the fight quickly becomes up close and personal. Homelander is so cocky, Thanos probably won't miss his chance to monologue at him before actually killing him. Homelander surprise flies out to a distance and tries circling around, keeping distance and lasering constantly. Thanos keeps tanking or dodging, eventually landing a sword throw or coming up with some other counter, and Homelander flees as fast as he can. Or Homelander gets caught and Thanos doesn't let him go, and he breaks him in half or something.

However I do think Homelander is faster than we're really giving him credit for here. The speed he instantly accelerated to in order to escape that C4 blast is his fastest speed feat. We see the light shine on his face, and then before the shockwave hits them he picks up Butcher and flies out. So that says a lot about Homelander's reaction speed as well as his ability to move insanely fast in a short amount of time. He could use this to throw rapid strikes that may be hard to avoid. We should consider Homelander ferverntly telling A-Train that he would lose. And the fact that A-Train is afraid of Homelander. Like, Homelander must be fast enough to easily catch A-Train. Thanos has some incredible speed feats too, but if Homelander has a chance it's by using his speed to blitz attack Thanos. Then it just comes down to who's more durable. Once again I think Thanos is more durable. The main reason being Maeve stabbing Homelander in the ear and drawing blood. It was just a steel blade. idc who's holding that blade in the MCU, it's just gonna smoosh on Thanos' skin.
