I agree with your assessment. The basic Air is suitable for most of the population, and the Pro is the next level. It might be a cliché, but it's hard to go wrong with a MacBook - they just work all the time. You don't have all the virus issues that you have with Windows, and you don't have to load a driver for every piece of hardware. Good or bad, Apple makes all the parts, so you know everything will just work right out of the box.

You are right, Windows is just poor at keeping the consistency there for the long run. It's not entirely their fault though, it's just that so many computers with different configurations are taking advantage of Windows, making it hard for Microsoft to do the best job. Just like Android and iOS.

Minor correction. The 14 inch MacBook Pro with Pro chip comes in Space Black not Space Grey. Great laptop! Typing this on mine.

This happened to my iPad Pro. I had charged it with a not official iPad charger and destroyed my usb-c connector. Had to buy a Magic Keyboard to get it to charge again.

Honestly I don't know what you are going to use the laptop for, but from what I have learned, M3 Pro is just slightly better than the M2 Pro, so there is a chance that M4 Pro will be slightly better than M3 Pro. As a matter of fact, you can watch some reviews on the M4 iPad Pro, to get more insights. Thanks for your comment! My first-ever comment! So the mouse I am using is the Logitech M750L, I think it's an upgraded version over the M650. Major upgrades: 1. The size, L means it's for people who has bigger hands 2. It has a DPI button, to change the DPI. The Smartwheel is not as good as it is on the high end Logitech ones, but good enough for daily use. I am surprised that it is not available on amazon, but it is available in china, price about $40 USD.

I was in between the Anywhere 3S and this one, but I came to the conclusion that the 3S is too small, but this one is 118.19*65.63*41.52mm(data from Logitech official), so it is a much better size for me at least, and it's more ergo.

I’d rather have a 16” instead of the 14 for music production and gigging but I feel like you can get a bigger screen still for less with Windows. But then Apple is really good at Apple things so I’m torn haha 🍎

Yeah I agree, for serious music production, the 16" screen and the built-in speakers can really help. But if you value portability, then 14" is the better choice. Like for me, I would always edit video on the 27" monitor, so 14" is for me.
