Was drawn to Sony @ first, but went with the s5iix. It’s a real struggle when cameras overheat during recording. L-mount glass is expensive, but other that it’s a great choice.

I have the Fuji XH2s and the XT5 but when I was buying the XH2s I was trying to decide between it and the A7IV but I ended up going with Fuji for the colors. But after two years with the Fuji I still love it but I’m considering getting the FX3 cuz the autofocus on the Fuji just isn’t reliable enough

Also the s5x is a great comparison and also the Nikon z6 iii but bruh I love Sony..I don’t think I can do those other mounts and lenses😂😂 LUMIX is kinda tempting though

I really love my A74. Great for photo video for weddings.Shoots video clean to iso 3200 which is enough low light for me. I haven't had overheating, cross you fingers. I love Tamron lenses because they all have 67mm filters.

Mine get over heated in a wedding it tuurn off and I have to wait a minute and I can record 15min more , but I have to say in horrible conditions in Spain it the middle of the sun , I don't move the screen And I hold the camera with my hands(no gimbal) but since more 2 years I have it was the only time.

Your greatest point is the Auto focus. I agree, Sony and Canon are #1 for sure and I'd give the advantage to Sony.

Had an A7IV when it first released... if the S5IIX would have been available at the same time I would have chosen it over the A7IV. The overheating was a dealbreaker for me, but it also had limited HDMI port functionality. LUMIX's stabilization is second to none! The FX30 is built with a more robust "cine-type" body that has active cooling... of course it can do 4K/120 without overheating. The APS-C sensor is a positive and a negative for the system in some respects, but if you do mostly video it's hard to beat.

@@Kemstylebossy ... it's a very competitive segment. Before the Nikon Z6III came along I felt that the S5IIX had the better balance between photo and video features... and cost less, too!
