Also the fact that insurance can also say the rates which they pay out on different thing like on purpose incidence like arson weather like floods or accidental like electrical wiring failure. these fucking people saying insurance as an all perfect reasoning to destroy a business also must this the business owner and building owner are always the same fucking people too.

I think an interesting thing to add is that Vaush is highly responsible for the way his community negatively acts towards Destiny, though perhaps not intentionally. If anyone has followed Vaush for the past few months, Vaush will sometimes describe Destiny as falling towards the right. He'll say things like "If you compare what Destiny has said 2 years ago compared to what he says today, you'll see a stark difference" implying that Destiny is becoming more of a conservative. What's probably happening is that Destiny was soft to his leftist audience for a long time and Destiny made a conscious decision to go against his lefty fanbase rather than actually shift rightward. The narrative that "Destiny is falling towards the right" probably has a strong influence on Vaush's community's opinion on Destiny, especially when his takes are perceived to be that way (even if they aren't). So, whenever Destiny is clipped out of context or whenever he's perceived to be shifting towards the right, there's often a visceral reaction from these communities. I don't suspect these are collectively inspired from hatred itself, but rather a mixture of concern, disappointment, community divide, and yes, hate is in there too. I think this narrative is powerful in influencing how these people (including a lot of people in Destiny's community) often respond to Destiny's takes whereas when Vaush does something similar, it's often accepted as nothing more than a display of bad optics like when everybody used to spam the NEAT emote. There was no underlying narrative there to sort of poison the well. So yeah, Vaush is a pretty big culprit in how his community negatively reacts to Destiny a lot of the times, despite it not being intentional. I just think this is an important caveat to consider when we're dealing with why Destiny is seemingly treated differently than Vaush for similar blunders. It might be worthwhile for Destiny to address this narrative if he hasn't already. I'm not mega-proactive in all the shit that goes on but I can still pick up on the sort of overarching ideas that influence people's tweets and all that jazz.
@hermithouse4 жыл бұрын
This ignores the fact that destiny has a long history of burning bridges and getting himself u to trouble by speaking before thinking. Even way back during his SC2 days he kept getting fired for his behaviour. It’s basically a pattern of behaviour our at this point and I think it is ridiculous to try and blame Vaush or anyone else at this point.
@Suprcow964 жыл бұрын
@@hermithouse Vaush and Destiny have both gotten flak for some of their previous behaviour. I'm not touching on how Twitch, KZbin etc have treated either content creators. I'm looking at the difference in how both communities perceive Destiny and Vaush, and why I think this narrative, regardless of whether or not it's actually true, probably influences people's perception of them. Vaush gives similarly hot takes and is also similarly clipped out of context (for instance, the Marvel movie joke) yet we don't see the same degree of backlash within Vaush's community.
@wisetrollman4 жыл бұрын
I disagree. For one, Desiny does act differently these days, the calm, methodical debates which made me really like him are very rare now. Vaush was also very charitable towards Destiny lot of the time, the occasional jabs what you referred in your comment definitely weren’t harsh enough to push people to dislike him especially if you knew the context of their relationship.
@Suprcow964 жыл бұрын
@@wisetrollman I don't even think those were intentionally meant to be jabs. I'm pretty certain Vaush is strong and genuine in his belief that Destiny is moving rightward politically. I think the existing narrative has a strong influence in how Destiny/Vaush's fans react to him. It's the underlying idea that Destiny is becoming reactionary/conservative and any indication of that would resort in greater backlash compared to any hot take that Vaush gives.

@@Suprcow96 1. Vaush simps for destiny more times than not. 2. EVERY, okay most of the interaction that destiny has had with vaushs fanbase has been very hostile. Destiny routinely comes on to vaushes chat whith people who have built a parasocial relationship with vaush and belittle his intelligence. in an earlier stream vaush said he was going to cease talking to destiny because he was so patronizing. Destiny never had a good foundation with any fan of vaush that wasnt already a fan of destiny. Destinys error in these Rittenhouse debates has been allowing the conservation to devolve into talk about the legitimacy of defending communities and property. That point is really just an immaterial non sequitur. Rosenbaum had no more of a right to be out there than Kyle. Period. The mere fact Kyle had his AR15 on him doesn't give Rosenbaum or anyone a legal or moral right to aggress against him like he did. Kyle just being there with a gun doesn't mean he's legally or morally obliged to let himself get beat up, shot at, or disarmed by Rosenbaum or anyone. It doesn't make any sense. Just bc he's underage, or crossed state lines doesn't mean he's legally obliged to assaulted. Also, some of the anti Kyle crowd asserts that we don't know enough about what happened b4 Rosenbaum chased and cornered Kyle in the parking lot...Like Really? Do we really think the baby faced kid cleaning graffiti and asking ppl if they need medical help started the altercation?.....not the felon who spent a decade in prison for sexual assault of an underage girl who we see on video saying " Fuckin shoot me Ni**a" and literally chasing the kid into a corner and lunging for his rifle right before he was shot? Please, this is clearly self defense. The kid will walk or hang every jury they throw at him and charges will eventually be dropped.
@enriquegamboa59064 жыл бұрын
You’re such a dishonest actor that your attempt at rehabilitation of a murder as “a babyfaced.” These characteristics are truly immaterial, whether kyle fed stray cats on weekends or not does not change the fact he murdered 3 protesters. Kyle not only crossed state lines to purposely come to stir things up in kenosha as part of a militia, but he violated the curfew, brandished the gun on the street, shot 3 killed 2 (one he shot in the back, Rosenbaum was unarmed) and after murdering them he fled outside of state lines. That you think protesters deserve to be shot for trying to disarm a radical who had already shot and killed one protester is insane, and it is further laughable that you think self defense extends towards kyle shooting the people who were trying to disarm him post his first murder. That wasn’t self defense, that was plain violence towards protesters trying to stop him from slaying more people. Stop running defense for murders and maybe try to see that political violence towards protesters should be condemned.
@dukedematteo19954 жыл бұрын
@@enriquegamboa5906 He didn't murder anyone....those scumbag felons got themselves killed. the only thing that will matter legally is the fact Rosenbaum was the physical aggressor.......Kyle simply being there with his gun around his shoulders doesnt somehow magically make it legal or moral for Rosenbaum to begin aggressing against him and chasing him.....nor does it mean Kyle is legally obliged to let himself get assaulted by some pedophile after being chased into a corner and shot at

@@auskipper this isn't true, and no normal people believe this anymore. Support for BLM would not have nosedived the way it did had all that had been burned and destroyed been government property, police departments, etc. When it changed from, "we need police reform and to end trigger happy policing" to "white people are racists, police=white supremacy, we need to bring about a socialist revolution", you lost the support from center, center right, and libertarians/independents.

I know this is anecdotal, but I was introduced to Destiny through Vaush's channel and I really love Destiny's content. I wish all lefty communities could just get along and work together, in-fighting is how the right wins.
@WizzKidxKOx4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, and rioting and riot apologism is even more how the right wins. Lefty in fighting is great because there's a good reason for the fighting, as one outcome leads to Trump and literally the end of humanity, and the other (peaceful protest) leads to progressive gradual change. As someone from Vaush’s community, and of course this entirely anecdotal, I like Destiny. I subscribed to him THROUGH Vaush. I have my differences with him and his opinions. But I would imagine quite a few of the non-vocal majority would feel somewhat similar. The clip was bad, and the optics looked bad, but I would happily admit that there is nuance with what you were arguing. The clipping was totally dishonest.
