I am not sure, but with this number of subs on youtube I do not see how one can afford a new porsche macan in norway if that is your main profession? but I honestly do not know if he has a side business which generates more money.

But just on the KZbin Basis I cannot See how he would be able to afford it. I am quite happy with my new EX30 Ultra. Sure a taycan would be great, but no reason for negative thoughts here.

Get the Polestar 3. Atleast they invited you to drive it unlike Porsche (snobb). It looks much nicer and is less expensive than Porsche Macan. I have also sat in the new Macan EV and Polestar 3 and 4 and to be honest, the Porsche was like ”meh” felt like a 2017 Porsche. The Polestar 3/4 was like ”wow”. Also acoording some to journalists the Polestar 4 even had better handling than the Porsche Macan EV. Thats why i have ordered a Polestar. So get the Polestar 3! Audi and Hyundai is also ”meh”

I sat in the Macan 4 two times and both times my impression was ok, but not like wow. Also the seats are taking up alot of space. They kinda buldge out in the middle, making it sort of hard to get in on the backseat. Im 182cm. That weighed up against the hefty pricetag and as you also mention, not having driven it myself yet. Holds me back from placing an order.

Fully agree with what you say. I did the same. I cancelled my MACAN 4 order for similar reasons, except for the Taycan ownership. My configuration was pretty basic with only a few options, but still 93k euros. I like the Polestar 3 and 4, they are different.

I ordered a Polestar 4, which I also did not drive yet. At least I was able to see it a few times and have a seat inside. I can understand that you cancelled your order at this point, without even seeing the Macan. My impressions of the 4 were so positive that I took the "risk", but I am eagerly waiting for your review on it ;) The only missing piece after that will be a home charger, to be precise: I want to win the Zaptec Go home charger. :)

Bummer on the cancellation Kris, but I understand your reasoning. That is a lot of money for a Macan, but I think Porsche will make it quite special. I love my Taycan 4S also with 88.8k miles (143km). It is an amazing driving machine.

I had a look at the Macan. A basic Macan with the necessary options is €107000. A taycan 4S sport tourismo with basic options is €155k. I was interested in the Polestar 3, but is comes to market to late and polestar is difficult if you do more miles for an interesting corporate financing. Polestar 4 is to close in price to the polestar 3. So I ended up getting a BMW i5. Great finance deals and nice and comfortable to drive.

I want a Zaptec GO homecharger. Why? Well I loved the design of the Polestar 3 since when it was first revealed, I finally bit the bullet back in February and placed my order. It was the first time I've ever ordered a car without having a test drive first. I've been questioning my decision and anxiously awaiting reviews ever since I ordered. 😅 Some of my doubts have finally been laid to rest after the review embargo came off last week, now I can't wait for the delivery in October. 👌🏼 Looking forward to seeing a lot of polestar content on your channel in the future!

Keep your Taycan 1-2 more years. It's an awesome car. With the money you save take it on a road trip to the alps and give it a ride for it's money. That will be an experience above all else both for you and for us viewer.

You are going Ioniq 5N or Polestar 4. I really like the Ioniq 5N but the range is bad... I would not buy it just because of that. And I like the Macan, because it has decent batteries/range and it looks great and more like a big hot-hatch than SUV.

If you are going to buy one for the channel to make content, then no question the Polstar 3, as it is the only one other than the Porsche Macan that is truly new. If you have ruled out the Macan (I did the same for all the same reasons), then that leaves the Polstar 3. All then best.

Hi Kris, thanks for a nice channel. I have similar thoughts about the Macan. I'm not going to order a new car right now, but I think Poolstar 3 and 4 together with the EX90 are very interesting. In practical terms, I would probably choose between the 3 or the EX90 and emotionally I would choose the 4 because it looks really nice. Until recently I had an EV6 GT Line which I was very happy with (most things). And the 4 is about the same model as I understand it. But much nicer and probably better in most areas. The Taycan is of course a fantastic car, but a fully speked one is also difficult to justify with the price compared to e.g. Poolstar 4. So I look forward to your review of it! And I almost forgot: I want a Zaptec GO homecharger. My Eesee charger just broke (a week ago) and they won't replace it so I really need a new charging box and Zaptec is what I want instead.

@@KrisRifa If the Zeekr in EU have to offer new Zeekr 001 restyling version with 95kwh lfp battery and with charging speed from 10%-80% in just 11 and half minutes, it would be the best choice ever made. This older version is also very good, but if you don't mind charging speed 10%-80% in 30 minutes than this is also the good choise. Design of that car outside and inside is outstanding. Also you have 22kw AC... This is my next car for sure... 😊

⁠yes it was. Jaguar I-Pace. You can google Florida I-Pace fire Electrek wrote an article about. Jaguar did nothing to help or compensate. They even bought the wreck car from Copart and shipped it to New Jersey and a year later there was a recall for all I-Pace. My wife currently has a new Macan and I would not trade that for an EV version. You did good by canceling that order.
