I got an 09😊. I put a smaller sprocket on the back to drop rpm at speed. Sprocket calculator lies on the chain link count. I actually counted the links before ordering the correct length😊. 16/43 112 link stock

@@NostalgicMotorcyclesdo a rebuild series‼️. Not enough out there. Bike gets hot sitn in traffic. Not alot of twin fan installs shown by even the stunters who typically do them🙁

Strange I live in Florida and my bike stays 180-190. I noticed it has some silicone around the thermostat housing so it’s possible it doesn’t have one or it was been replaced with a lower temp one.

I have a 2023 model and would be really curious to get a leg over the 599cc version and see how it feels.

I’ve been trying to get one of my local guys with a 636 to make a video with me for speed reference. Ergonomics will be dam near the same. The older bike might even feel a little smoother compared to a newer version that’s restricted still. Tuned is a different story. Restricted the older bikes make. More power. Tuned the newer bikes have a leg up.

@@NostalgicMotorcycles Yeah, that would be cool. I'm curious more about off the line speed between the 599cc and 636cc than the top end speed. I assume with the extra 37cc and shorter gearing the 636cc would be much faster, but a real world comparison would be cool to see.

Two wheel dyno works ecu flash turned the bike into a straight beast I can not recommend their ecu flash enough

@@NostalgicMotorcycles yes power all throughout the rev range the top end is godly sounding. so raw and smooth the tune really smooths out the bottom end

I have an 09 zx6 and it is an animal. I have decat and tune I think it will smoke a 636 if we raced. My limiter is raised at 17500 rpm and it makes power all the way to the limiter
