Yup. Because it isn't just the alcohol, it's the amount of sugar in it too that kills you. I used to bartend and, on the night before thanksgiving, we would go through about fifteen bottles of Fireball and Dr. McGillicuty's, each. I would have people come up and order ten shots for about five people and all I could think was, "You are going to friggin hurt tomorrow!"

As someone from the Dutch/German border region, Jäger is a really popular drink, especially after ice skating or during apres-ski (Austria) to warm you up. I like drinking it pure (ice and ice cold). My girlfriend, on the other hand, prefers to mix it with cherry Coke at a 1:3 ratio.

Lol always did Jagger with a beer chaser to get rid of the taste faster...pre jagger bomb days.. Worst night I drank most of a 750 ml...no memory of that night only stories (they tried to take pics but this was pre cells with cameras and the darkness blessed me with no pics turning out (YEAY)!! Lol haven't touched it much sense. Only thing I ever got was a 24 hour hangover...and the memory loss that day.

In Sweden since the 80s, Jaegermeister has been a party thing! In the Alps, you got a U-Boat... A large strong beer in a one-liter glass with a small Jaegermeister shot to be dipped into the beer. On the sun holiday and the resort bar, always a small Jaegermeister or two before the meal to whet the appetite. On the Scandinavian boat cruise between Finland and Sweden, always start with a large strong beer and a Jaegermeister shot. They also came in a package price from the bar. So it has probably slipped down, one and another Jaegermeisters over the years.

Oh, wine can be scary. Especially since it hits different depending on the fruits in it. I'm normally good for a fairly large amount, but there was one wine I drank a second glass and immediately knew I wasn't going anywhere for a long time. It went from being equal to one shot to four instantly.

Long Island Iced Tea is almost like the worst of both kinds. Tastes like delicious strong iced tea, yet halfway though the 3rd tall glass you gonna find out why you were told to sit to drink it. One sec I'm sittin on the couch, get jabbed in the side, and next sec I'm sprawled out on the floor not sure how I got there, feeling like I'm moving through syrup. Great 21st B-day all in all, though I wish I hadn't kept testing every freakin doorframe with my forehead. Did NOT help my 1st hangover whatsoever!

Tequila won't make you say its name? Not many alcohols have their own theme song, but of those, how many have theme songs whose lyrics consist solely of the name of that alcohol? Because I'm pretty sure it's just tequila. Also you definitely will hear Japanese people go nuts with their alcohol, but not sake so much as beer. Sake is closer to Japan to what wine is in America. Anyway, Japan is one of the most uptight nations on the planet. But as a result, it's also the country where some people will try harder than basically anywhere else to let loose. Stress drinking has a threshold where beyond that no party drinking can outmatch it in terms of ferocity.
