Fairy Tail had SO MUTCH potential. Take out half the friendship shit and make some of the deaths ACTUALY STICK and you wuld have had a GREAT show. Fairy tail is my favourite anime ever, i love how the guild is one big family they'll do anything for each other. Magic is rooted in bonds and emotions is amps magic which makes more sense. There are so many interesting characters who get their time to shine, the fillar, ovas and movies also are amazing to me each to their own, the fillar reminds us that they are a family going on wacky adventures, it doesnt have to be serious 24/7 but when they get serious that is amazing. Theres also so much death in the anime one example is the bane particals killing so many civilians but if it wasnt for laxus taking in as much as possible that count would be higher. The council was also obliterated, future lucy and her future where everyone died. No hate weather you love fairy tail or not but im going to stick to fairy tail because im apart of the guild too 👆 because anyone who has their heart is a member and only fairy tail members can see mavis

Fairy Tail genuinely not even that bad, no show is pitch perfect and no show will ever be perfect, so you gotta realize that with these hella cast of characters, the power system, the character design, the MUSIC, Fairy Tail for being set up the way it was, was some heat. Late to the party but I agree with you on this one. I stopped reading Fairy Tail during the Dragon War arc. Fairy Tail's story worsened as it moved forward. What is even the f*** point of a story when THE WHOLE FREAKING SERIES can be summed up with "Goofy Power of Friendship beats everything". Like, no joke, I honestly wanted those dragons to just destroy the whole f***ing world and be done with it. THAT was how much I hated the story. Erza (mostly thanks to her original design and battle sequences) is probably the ONLY REASON why I even stayed with the series for THAT LONG.
