@clarence0 question. did you consider taking way more drugs for 1-2 years, to see how far you can go? like way more. because: traditional bodybuilders, who are on a massive load of drugs, always lack the technique experience for olympic lifting. yet, you've an advantage... heart attacks and brain issues aside (ahem)

Enhanced games will never be a thing. The reality is the normal games are already enhanced and the best athletes are already there. No one good enough to get on olympic level would go so those who would wouldn't be beating any records thus the only thing it would do is place more suspicion on the "natty" games.

Honestly the only lifting channel I enjoy the content of. I can relate to the squat frequency answer; have to do it 4-5 times a week for maintenance at a certain level. Also injured my knee in may, so couldn't squat for 8 weeks (still trained legs though), and I lost 40kg on my reps just like that. Been vegan for 12 years now. I tried mock-meats once or twice, and both times I saw it as a novelty more than anything else. Didn't really see the point.

The lab meat thing reminds me of the terraforming mars idea. It would be monumentally easier just to stop polluting our planet than terraform mars. Essentially it would be much easier to make vegan proteins/ foods taste like meat than grow meat in a lab.

100%, personally I'd say it is much easier to make vegan food taste good than to make them taste like meat. I haven't found any vegan meat I have liked so far, but it is easy to make a lentil or bean dish so good I wouldn't miss meat.
@PauIdenino2 ай бұрын
@@iverbrnstad791I once bought some vegan minced meat and it tasted so horrible that I had to throw it out. That never happens unless the food is spoiled. It made me wonder how many people have tried that and thought that all vegan foods taste like that.
@tappajaav2 ай бұрын
I think the idea that meat substitutes have to taste like "the real deal" itself is silly. We all grow accustomed to eating food that tastes certain way. And equally we can get accustomed to food tasting different, even in our later years
@TheImmenseFence2 ай бұрын
@tappajaav I actually think that vegan foods can pretty much nail the taste. It's all just umami flavour, the main thing holding it back is texture. Seems like getting the right 'chewiness' is the challenge. And you're right we shouldn't need to emulate that. But it definitely is a better experience IMO having the vegan stuff have a better texture.

He isn't very lean though.You can see that he has a bunch of fat too.Being heavy as fuck has a lot of drawbacks as well, sure you get strength but a lot more under the hood stuff goes on that puts your body under a lot of stress, just moving around is tougher, your heart has to work overtime to supply so much mass. At the end of the day mass is mass, muscle or fat is still means your organs are working overtime to support it. BMI of 31.5 even as a lifter is not good

You're so on point with your comments about veganism. It's absurd that you and others should get hate for just talking about it. People just see some compilations of "crazy vegans" and a few commentary channels mocking it and then they just associate all veganism with that type of behaviour as if there isn't any nuance to the subject.
@christopherroberts25002 ай бұрын
I believe the frustration for many in Clarence's case was that he was, in part at least, suggesting his vegan diet and lifestyle 'made' his formidable gym gains - in reality it was most of his adult life eating meat and taking PEDs, not mung beans and salads. He's never clarified this, so of course the hate continues. Aside from that, yes, giving someone shit just for being vegan is of course not right.
@R3IMU2 ай бұрын
It triggers people, because most live in a state of blissful ignorance of most things while claiming and dearly believing to be a "good person". Even though everyone can agree that the world isn't black and white, people have a very hard time admitting to themselves that they are in fact grey and have their moral shortcomings. And on a topic as glaringly clear as the vegan question, their ignorance and moral failure surface and their psyche leads their brain into a defense mechanism. Instead of acknowledging and accepting their shortcomings, they dismiss it or get angry.
