Enhanced games will never be a thing. The reality is the normal games are already enhanced and the best athletes are already there. No one good enough to get on olympic level would go so those who would wouldn't be beating any records thus the only thing it would do is place more suspicion on the "natty" games.

Honestly the only lifting channel I enjoy the content of. I can relate to the squat frequency answer; have to do it 4-5 times a week for maintenance at a certain level. Also injured my knee in may, so couldn't squat for 8 weeks (still trained legs though), and I lost 40kg on my reps just like that. Been vegan for 12 years now. I tried mock-meats once or twice, and both times I saw it as a novelty more than anything else. Didn't really see the point.

You're so on point with your comments about veganism. It's absurd that you and others should get hate for just talking about it. People just see some compilations of "crazy vegans" and a few commentary channels mocking it and then they just associate all veganism with that type of behaviour as if there isn't any nuance to the subject.

Clarence is an OG for posting this. People really think they should oly lift forever and then their bodies breakdown MUCH quicker than your basic lifts. Another thing I dislike about the veganism discussion is that the transition has to be all or nothing. I still eat meat for a variety of reasons (social convenience, enjoyment, protein) but I try to eat it at most once per day. Whereas previously I'd have some kind of meat with every meal. I think it's totally legitimate to try to reduce your consumption of meat and buy more expensive animal products where the animal had a higher standard of living. It's still not the most ethical stance, but it's better than claiming there is no problem at all.
@BeepBoopBleepBlorp19 сағат бұрын
I always tell people to go gradually. Explore plant-based options and add them where you like them. Expecting everyone to go from 0-100 on principle is unrealistic.
@hellowill14 сағат бұрын
I take the same approach. Yet most vegans including the ones in this thread say I'm evil, horrible and a bunch of other strawmen. Makes it very hard to support them.
@Fillegubben9 сағат бұрын
I think that's worse in a way. It's different eating meat if you either don't care about, or have some other opinions on how the animals are treated, but if how they're treated is a big thing for you and you still eat them it's very weird
@maxpowers44364 сағат бұрын
@@Fillegubben You obviously dont know what your are talking about because veganism isnt a zero sum game. If i eat chicken here and there but i dont drive or catch a plane yet you do, you contribute to more animal deaths than me if i buy 5 chickens a year.

About veganism, I have to admit that it most definitely is a decision of convenience for me. I also understand that it's morally the incorrect decision. I could eat vegan food every day, technically. I try to have one vegan day a week at the moment, and at some point I'll probably increase it to two and try to build it up from there. For me the biggest issue with things like mock meat is the price. It's roughly 2.5 to 3 times more expensive per 100g than lets say, chicken, in the grocery story I frequent. With my food budget it definitely is not a viable option.

Yeah, the lab meat coping always annoys me. And it exposes so much. Besides, I'd rather people grow and develop over closing their eyes and change nothing about themselves. "Oh, someone secretly switched all the meat in the stores with lab meat, I don't have to change anything or understand"(and what about everything else besides "meat"?). My wish is unrealistic of course, idealistic I suppose. To me it's strange that most people seem to hit 15-20 years of age, and stop having any real interest to better themselves. For the most part. More so, process starts that only solidifies and strengthens who and what they are at that age, for the rest of their life.
