Regarding the usage of lifting equipment/weightlifting shoes in specific, this reminds me of cycling shoes&pedals designed for them, something I'm sure you have at least heard of considering you've mentioned in the past that you enjoy cycling. Some people truly swear by them, and they absolutely do have benefits - but there's also nothing wrong with cycling all your life, never touching such technology.

I wouldn't care about Olivia's training coz she's a girl. lol. But on serious thought, if i recall correctly, her parents own Crossfit gym, and she has mentioned having some physio therapy like cuppings or something. Probably, she has good diet plans that fuel her energy. That's why she's in top shape. Her techniques look very smooth. I already noticed her while a lot of people focused on Imperio girls. Those Imperio girls were not even on top 10. I don't know why they got much attention. It's weightlifting, not beauty pageant.

You're so on point with your comments about veganism. It's absurd that you and others should get hate for just talking about it. People just see some compilations of "crazy vegans" and a few commentary channels mocking it and then they just associate all veganism with that type of behaviour as if there isn't any nuance to the subject.

I believe the frustration for many in Clarence's case was that he was, in part at least, suggesting his vegan diet and lifestyle 'made' his formidable gym gains - in reality it was most of his adult life eating meat and taking PEDs, not mung beans and salads. He's never clarified this, so of course the hate continues. Aside from that, yes, giving someone shit just for being vegan is of course not right.

It triggers people, because most live in a state of blissful ignorance of most things while claiming and dearly believing to be a "good person". Even though everyone can agree that the world isn't black and white, people have a very hard time admitting to themselves that they are in fact grey and have their moral shortcomings. And on a topic as glaringly clear as the vegan question, their ignorance and moral failure surface and their psyche leads their brain into a defense mechanism. Instead of acknowledging and accepting their shortcomings, they dismiss it or get angry.

I agree with most of your point, I think mindless scrolling is one of the more serious contemporary problems, however I do not think all phone use is bad. I personally have removed Instagram, facebook ad reddit from my phone precisely because I would end mindlessly scrolling and I did not like what that did to my attention span. What I do pretty much 100% of the times between sets is learning languages (and no, not duolingo, there are much better ways). Over the last 7-8 years I've learned about 5 language to varying degrees. It's true this sort of multitasking is suboptimal and I'd learn much better if I dedicated specific time to language learning, but sadly I don't have that time. I'm also sympathetic to the argument that we don't need to optimize every second we have and just doing nothing is perfectly fine a lot of the times, but I do that a fair amount during the day anyway, not to mention I meditate every day.

Your video with Juji a few years ago in his old garage gym, with you squatting like a boss, was what started me going to the gym. I’m not athletic, I’m not crazy dedicated, I’m not ripped, but I’ve always been able to squat. Hearing from training influencers I respect that it’s ok to squat weight every day really kickstarted my journey, and following your channel with its openness and honesty, has been a constant source of zen joy. Thank you 😊👍

Being athletic has to be the greatest feeling, moving your body through space and actually being healthy on top of that. Who cares if gymbros think you are small. You still have ridiculous strength 😂 I'm trying to balance being healthy and maxing absolute strength but it's very clear that it's hard to keep them them in balance, still going to try though 👊🏼 You're my inspiration to be more athletic! since there are isolate proteins, all kind of meaty textures can be imitated. Of course not the part of cadaverine, heme iron, and all byproducts of rotting flesh, so the taste willnever be the same, but the textured, it already is, as clarence says.

I can respect your stance on veganism but i have to ask. Why are we humans in the opinion of many vegans supposed to adhere to a higher standard of morality than other Animals? Should Orcas stop eating Seals? Should Octopus stop eating fish? In nature there are animals whose stomachs can't even digest greens, what are they supposed to do? Or is it the farm industry that you're against?
@derfuerst59968 сағат бұрын
Vegan ethic ends where they realize that there is no ethic.
@PauIdenino3 сағат бұрын
Because humans have a moral compass. We are more developed and sentient than other animals. It's why we don't just go around and grape others when we feel like we want to reproduce. We know right from wrong unlike most animals.
@PauIdenino3 сағат бұрын
Of course animals who can't digest greens shouldn't eat greens. Humans can, though. Animals also can't vote but humans can. We're different than other animals.

Plants are missing over 15 micronutrients (bioavailable). It's not healthy, simple as that. We can not ferment plants like cows or horses and other herbivores, so we cannot get the nutrients from bacteria breaking down cellulose. You wouldn't force a wolf or lion to be vegan would you? Or even a dog or cat? There's nothing wrong with eating your natural nourishing food, humans are hunter-gatherers original, we are not adapted well to plants. Good luck, you'll need it in the long run as a vegan, concerning your health. All the best...
