It started with gays wanting to marry. I had no problem with that but I have a problem with sex in front of kids in "Pride" parades. yes. it happened. I would not want a male or a female either to dance in front of kids in a library. If you are interested in READING to kids, why do you have to dress up to do it? Well, yes and no. There used to be a very small percentage of people who transitioned to living as the opposite sex. It was acknowledged as a mental problem, and the numbers were so small that it was easy to accommodate them without it affecting the lives of most people. But the rise of gender ideology and the ridiculous notion that gender is a spectrum and so on, and the cause being aggressively advanced by advocacy groups, means it now has real consequences for many others. In the end it will backfire on them.

As a biologist: 2 Categories in Humans (Almost 100%, Exceptions are genetic mutations) Fact Level 1: Chromosome based. XX = Female and XY = Male. Fact Level 2: Gender. "Wording/language" linked to Sex i.e. Woman (Adult Human Female) Man (Adult Human Male). Fact Level 3: Gender Presentation: Clothing, Body-mass (level of training), Makeup, Styling etc This is choice and as such a "social construct". In 4th place is Gender Identity. Not factual but based on feelings Can't change Sex therefore can't change Gender, ergo no such thing as Transgender. Research states people have differing levels of satisfaction post-plastic surgery depending on their expectations. Those who expect to be treated differently/occupy a different social role after surgery are much less happy afterwards than people who just wanted a smaller nose. Transgender people are mostly in that category of those with expectations expectations that others will see them differently and so have poor outcomes. This should be discussed with patients before they have surgery that's very invasive.

Autogynephilia (derived from Greek for "love of oneself as a woman" is a term coined by American-Canadian sexologist Ray Blanchard for "a male's propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female", intending for the term to refer to "the full gamut of erotically arousing cross-gender behaviours and fantasies". As a 73 year old Autogynephilic (a ridiculously highfalutin psychobabble name) and fetishist I have never felt any desire to mutilate my body into the semblance of a womans. I have a pretty clear idea why my sexuality developed in this way, growing up without affection or any expressions of love, like hugging, and, come puberty, was deeply sexually confused for many years. The drive to cross dress and be turned on by that was an immense feeling of self pleasure in a hostile world and an intimate expression and focus of my innate sex drive. I had no desire to be female and without a penis and male orgasm I can't imagine what the point would have been. I had Trans friends and would never have dreamed of going through what they went through to transition. Plus, at 73, whilst I have lost the ability to have an erection, I still get turned on as a whole mind and body experience and my ability to fantasise is stronger in old age than ever before, yet I remain comfortable and happy with being a man and having a fiercely private and personal sexual identity. It's the ultimate consensual experience with ones inner self and which is no one else's business. Family and friends know about it as a thing and a significant part of me, but no more than that, the details are private and personal.
@jujutrini8412

It is rather odd that many people today seem to think that people should go around telling all and sundry about their fetishes. Why on earth would a complete stranger need to know this (or be in the least bit interested) if they are not embarking on an intimate relationship with another person? I don’t really get it.
@hydraxisfrimon9785
@hydraxisfrimon9785 3 ай бұрын
Exactly that, it is a highly personal thing that practiced in the privacy of one's own home keeps it contained, discreet and one's own business, for those living by themself. It becomes more complicated in a household of other people, and no-one should expect others to fall into line in order to further their own fetishistic ideas. This is always a source of relationship schism sooner or later and makes for extremely difficult dynamics, especially when children are involved. Your description of yourself as a child, lonely and without physical contact or comfort, is so common in the profile of people who develop this particular need, possibly why it occurs often in those sent off to board in single-sex schools at a very young age.

@creators10 thank you for explaining that, and brave of you to be so honest in the online world (where people can be brutal whilst hiding behind a keyboard). I am all for people being themselves as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. I don't have a problem with anyone Trans or with the majority of fetishes either, practiced alone or with consenting partners...(how is it any of my business?) but the Trans Movement seems to have been hijacked by some very vocal Incel-like outspoken Misogynists who are hell bent on spreading hatred toward women - whilst claiming they desire nothing more than to live their life AS women and be accepted as such. I sense Bull sh*t, and I do not understand why the community as a whole is standing for it when they must know it will lead to a backlash. Unfortunately, at that point I imagine the people stirring up the hate will suddenly ditch the lipstick, unfurl their penis's and scuttle off back into the male locker room.

What broke me recently is a conversation with a transgender man. He said to me that when it comes to an intimate partner he would fall in love with another man. In my brain I was like, but why did you become a man then? What part of a man are you? At that point his transition didn't make sense. Until I realised that he has a gay brother, and his brother has found his love. I don't know, it's just my thought that maybe subconsciously he thought he could find love as a man when he couldn't as a woman. Or maybe that the gay men pool will be more accepting than the straight men pool. It made me question the whole idea of gender dysphoria as a medical diagnosis and it shook me. I see it as an excrescence of the idea of the malleability of life.

@@connor5669 I have considered a lot. And the question is indeed: why? How is this different from people like Oli London and how is this helpful? The point is that I don't know what to call this sexuality because it isn't homosexual. For someone who is born female it is impossible to experience male sexuality and vice versa. The original attraction is heterosexual, but no heterosexual man will be attracted to a transgender man. Likewise homosexual men aren't all that attracted to transgender men. A transgender male body may look somewhat similar like a biological male body, but it will never function alike. Especially sexually. It is nuts!

I think there's a problem with perception, because for the happiest trans people, like me, we're just living our ordinary lives. We have zero desire to ruin that with being a public figure, with activism etc. I pass completely as a man, I make 6 figures in a male dominated industry. I'm currently working on starting my own business and starting a family. I have no interest in trying to change people's minds. And in my mind, my transition is over. And it's been over for 17 years. I didn't want to be trans. And I don't identify as anything. Not trans. Not a woman. Not a man. I don't believe in gender identities. I'm a female with severe dysphoria that makes me suffer without transition. Transition relieved that suffering. I don't even like taking a Tylenol when I have a headache. And I've been a vegetarian longer than I haven't. I'm a martial artist and very health conscious. I consider myself a female with a birth defect and gender identity disorder. Transition was the only thing to stop the pain. And really all I can do is minimize the pain and move on with my life. I really only had a practical decision to make. You can argue on the internet or call me whatever you like, but fact is I pass as a gorgeous man, I'm happy and probably make more money than you.
