Amen brother! Thank you for sharing your story. So encouraging to know that there are others who are walking a similar path and have chosen to stand outside the camp in the Truth.

Thank you. As a person who just left the “local “church” , I am happy and complete. Now I can spend every day with my family and not worry about evangelizing my community by hiding Easter eggs at the park or attend the Holloween harvest at the church building. I am At peace and I growing in grace and knowledge. I feel the presence of our Father in my heart everyday now matter what I am going through in my mind.

Hello, my brother in Christ. I hear you concerning your struggles with being part of a local church. Do you believe we are called to be our own individual one person church, like a hermit, or an island? There actually are churches that teach the gospel of Jesus Christ very accurately where all the focus is on God. I know because I attend one. There will always be difficult people to deal with, because we are all sinners and step on each others toes at times. But we are to be connected to the body of Christ, made up up many members. That is where we truly flourish and grow, as we learn to love the unlovely and serve the undeserved. We all need each other. Being sumitted to a church with godly leadership keeps us from becoming proud and judgmental toward other believers, who we will be spending eternity with. God bless you young man!!!

Hi there. I’ve never been more connected to the body of Christ and yet I don’t currently attend a “local church”. I’m not opposed to meeting with other believers in person (I have a handful of brothers and sisters I meet up or communicate with regularly) but if The Gospel/The Doctrine of Christ/The Faith is not the focal point, we are called to mark and avoid anyone who brings a different Gospel/Jesus (Romans 16:17-18, Galatians 1:6-9) because it will interfere with our assurance and confidence of who we are in Christ and get our eyes on ourselves and not on our Lord and Savior. The vast majority of the “local churches” mix law with grace either pre or post salvation and don’t rightly divide the scriptures. If you have a group of believers that are meeting to build and edify one another through Christ/the truth, great. Either way, I’d encourage you to listen to the video I posted in the description about what the focal point of meeting with other members of the body should be.

Yeah that's ideal if you can find one...thankfully God's given me one near me but even then the majority of attendees do not have a full revelation of grace ...we gotta work with what we have and the internet provides a good opportunity to learn and meet likeminded believers.

So wait as a true believer you don't need to be obedient to scripture, be a part of the bride and share the gifts giving to you, repent and understand what sin is and who it's against, strive for the faith, work out your salvation as to be worthy of the upward call, run the race, labor night and day for reaching the lost, righteous and holy affections, live a life consistent with saving faith??? If your wondering I got that all from the book of ephesians literally written by Paul the greatest example of a transformed life in scripture. So Paul is a lier, a fraud and nothing in his 13 books applys to you? Fricken phenomenal and how are you saved again? Wait let me geuss you uttered I believe externally and wallah salvation. Your problem is obvious you haven't walked into a church where biblical doctrine is taught or exposited. Of course the vast majority of modern day evangelical churches are false but you don't quit looking....no such thing as solo salvation like a monk in a cave, you were designed to be with real believers

@@markthomas4310 The way believers are “obedient to scripture” is by walking by faith in Christ as to who they are in him. This is what Paul means to renew our minds and walk in the spirit. Members of Christ’s body are complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10), we have peace with God through Christ (Romans 5:1), and our flesh has been CRUCIFIED with Christ and it’s not us who lives but Christ that lives within us (Galatians 2:20). It’s God in Christ in us who is working and willing for his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). The way people are saved and in dwelt with God’s spirit is the same as living the Christian life which is by faith in simply Christ alone and HIS finished work. “The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38).
