My husband of 22 years walked out cold without warning on our son's birthday before the party. It was a shock, the death of a marriage is like the death of a person, you need to go through the grieving process. My sons and I recovered pretty quickly and have had a great life since. The kids are young terrific men, I've had a rich and rewarding life. I feel your pain, I admire you and send you my love. Joyeux Noël et meilleurs vœux pour la nouvelle année.

You are a strong woman Luisa! I too went through a journey similar to yours when my girls were 7 and 3. Pregnant and was told he no longer was in love with me and walked away. Remained in the girls life when it was convenient, which improved as they got older. It will make you bolder, stronger and better than ever. I got diagnosed with a neurological disorder, lost a family member & recently broke up with my ex, who I've been with during my entire 20s (I'm 24) it's a very different situation, but I thought I'd mention it & let you know you are NOT alone! I'm really optimistic about next year, optimistic for the wonderful things and moments that are gonna come for me next year... I know great things are gonna happen for you too.and whatever happened with your ex, you deserve better. I hope he'll continue being a good father for your kids❤️

I am so sorry to hear all of this. 2022 was my worst year ever. Both sides of my family abandoned me and I suddenly had no family other than my Mom. My Dad passed away from ALS in 2016 when I was still a teenager. I come from a broken family and it is really hard especially around the holidays. Something that has helped me is having a cat that loves me so much. She follows me like a dog and sits on me and purrs forever. It calms the nervous system and it is more unconditional love. You are clearly a wonderful mother and you and your children will be okay even if it doesn't feel like it right now. You have not met all the people who are going to love you yet. My Mom had uterine cancer and we didn't know if it was terminal or not- thankfully she is cured and cancer free. I lost my best friend on the other hand to a brain tumor. We met bc we both were youth with brain tumors. I am angry at God right now for having only a Mom and taking away all the people I loved. Much blessings to you! Random fact: I can understand and write in French too. It is a beautiful language and I hope to visit someday soon. ❤

I'm an "older" subscriber (from Belgium/EU) and I have to say, I was there when Ella was still very little. I followed your struggles getting pregnant again, and then cheered when it fell into place. I can't believe this news. But I sort of guessed when I started the video... My goodness, what is it these days with such "volatile" relationships. They are no longer built to last like in the days of old. My folks are married next year 55 years and it's just... through thick and thin, the good and the bad (I have been there growing up for a lot of it). But they were always respectful towards each other, and IMHO, separated or not, that is the *best example* you can give both of your babies. Even when he makes your blood boil, Louisa, don't let him do that to you. Kids tend to pick the most level-headed parent. Stay strong, girlfriend. You can do it! We all support you.

My grandma on my dad's side of the family had an inoperable brain tumor (spread from breast cancer which she had had earlier). Cancer is a beast. Has your dad thought of e-mailing, or writing letters to the three of you? Try and get him to share stories of his life, and/or childhood with your kids (he can write to future "adult" Nolan). I mean, the options these days are limitless... If your dad wants to and isn't too sick... Hang in there! I know what it's like firsthand.
