i was very excited to go to malaysia for the Nomad capitalist live event but I feel as though the way the tickets rolled out was done improperly. Waited and waited for more info on the event to be released (vip tickets etc) to see if i should book my own stay and come to find out they drop out of no where and had been price hiked
@nomadcapitalist6 ай бұрын
We’re sorry to hear that. Main tickets had the same price for the entire 14 days before they sold out; there were no price hikes. We offered a small discount to very early birds on +1 tickets for the first two days but otherwise those were the same price as well. As to disseminating information, a number of people on the email waiting list told us we sent too many emails. Hopefully you can join us sometime soon.

I recently obtained permanent residency and am thinking about going for citizenship eventually just incase something happens in the future that would make me want to give up my US citizenship. As a general rule living is a lot more laid back there. Family is extremely important and everything about family is celebrated - I think this makes for a much happier society. There is that support system that comes with being a member of your clan that results in a stronger and healthier community. Religion being strong part of society in Mexico adds to this phenonemon as well. The US is very socially conflicted right now and is floundering dangerously. As well, even though the dollar has weakened against the peso, with some common sense you can live a pretty darn high quality of life if you have some money going into it. You can spend a little or a lot, like anywhere.

I have been working for four decades in the US, and I have never seen a work ethic like today, many people don't even come in to the office. Mexico is still full of hard workers, eager to work and they are set up to replace China as the US trading partner. @@ralphramirez1979SLO is beautiful. That’s really cool, there is good surfing. My place is on a sandy beach, and not the cobbles, which is so much friendlier. I actually rented it out to a friend until January, then I’ll be using it for vacationing again.

Andrew, Could you please make a video on how to use 2 or passports while traveling? I am sure that if I don't understand the process many others have the same question. Example; If I hold a USA and another passport say a Caribbean one; how can I fly from USA to say Egypt and back without being flagged as an American. Is it as simple as showing the Caribbean one upon entering Egypt and then showing my American one upon returning home? Wouldn't security upon returning home question why my American Passport wasn't stamped for that trip? I am sure I'm over thinking all of this but clarification would be amazing. Best wishes.

Just in the last 12 months my brother god assaulted, and also one of my closest friends got assaulted, both happened during the morning at plain day light in 2 different cities and in places that were not considered specially dangerous. Also, in a Discord server we had a friend from Cd Juárez and recently we got the news that he lost his life in an assault. You can have a normal life in Mexico, but it's not safer than US and the insecurity is definitely noticiable.

As a Mexican living in Mexico after living 20 years in the U.S. I can see many more middle class US citizens moving here to buy homes. The market for buying homes from abroad has made some Mexican citizens unhappy we are selling our sovereignty.

The Mexican Peso is very high right now and has gained most against the US dollar, that usually isn't a good sign to invest in stocks as doing business in Mexico has become alot more expensive. On the other hand, the currencies of South Africa, Brazil, and Japan have become far cheaper and look more attractive as places to move factories to.
