In case you may have forgotten, I told you last year that leaving the UK and going to Sweden to Adventure, Explore, & Learn something new while taking a break from your Original Goal is something several of us have done and will continue to do all around the world. Congratulations on the residency girl. Another idea is if and when you decide to return to UK for medical school, you can rent your home as AirnB for people that want to vacation or a study abroad residency too. Just make sure you screen and do background check on prospective residents. Lola is so cute following you in the snow aww 🥰

I have really enjoyed your story! Seeing Sweden in her winter glory this year has been really enjoyable. We’re finally reaching double digits here on the Canadian prairie. Maybe we’re done with the snow, our first rainfall of the year is expected this saturday. Yay! Life is beautiful and hard in this type of climate. The winters are LONG, the darkness gets difficult and the isolation of the north can really effect mental health. You’re experiencing the longer days now, which starts to help, sunlight is a wonderful thing. I think it’s a good time to head back to the UK. This has been a year of growth for you both. Sweden and your lovely home will still be there when you’re finished your studies, so upward and onward. Keep us posted on how you are doing if you have the time. But go and live your lives! You have a glorious future ahead!!

Good luck with the launch on 12th April. There is never a perfect time for everything, you have to go with your gut feeling and as you say taking that first steps into anything. Kudos to all youtubers because I know I couldn’t do it myself 👏👏👏👏. I would definitely love to rent your home but unfortunately my daughter will be starting university and it’s not the best time. They own a property - that usually helps.

@@annebritraaen2237 Not really. Residency is very hard for non EU citizens. Owning property doesn’t matter. There’s a long list involved. Being financially secure that is, having a substantial sum every month, is a must. You’ll find info at migrationsverket.

Please, please make sure you understand Swedish rental laws - they are not at all like UK rental laws. There is a reason why short-term rentals (6mths) are more common than long-term.

Read up on rental law before you let it out. Its important. There are some gotchas in them when you start to rent out for longer periods of time. Short stint like a week or so is not a problem.

oh man. - If I was just a little more sure I could make that working remotely work I would tell you right here and now that I take you up on the renting for a year or two or three. But alas, my situation atm is very uncertain and based on what I've heard and read so far it's difficult to find a job up there ~~and especially in my field~~ and just living off savings for more than a few months is not really an option either 😭

Those big smiles don’t look like defeat to me, @Naomi Cave. And look at everything you’ve learned! Plus you wouldn’t have Lola. Totally check out what’s involved in finishing medical school in Sweden. You never know, it might be easier (and cheaper). I’m starting my own business finally, too. And maybe I’ll end up getting my PhD in Sweden, once we can travel from the US again (probably a few years, for sure). I’m looking at Norway, too, but Sweden is cheaper.

Nothing can be perfect from start. Mistakes need to be made - and they can't all be just by someone else, though that is less painful - to find out what works best and what the challenges are. Hanging women on trees seemed strange and scary, especially for Lola who was below, but perhaps I am just not enough visually geared to think that way. Just like I wasn't really aware of the differences of beauty products for different hair types or skin tones. Slowly I have started to understand these beauty needs of the other half of human population, by which I mean women and their those aspects of feminity, which are expressed by modifying their looks.

Are you sure? I believe she needs to get contact with other YT-channels in the same line. TicToc seem also effective at the moment. It has promoted my favourite artist up the charts with a six year old song. Just because it's good. I do think she'd be better off promoting it with her own face, and her own story.
