There are also 2 components to calisthenics. You can only do skills training with 5mins rest which does little for muscle damage and growth or you can also treat it like a proper workout. Cali isn't just 1 thing

As an MD, how sad/annoying to listen to the testosterone conversation. "I will integrate as a declining adult who is below the physiological levels". These people don't realize it is physiological to have declining levels: it is a process we call aging!! Trying to fight it with pharmacological interventions (even under medical guidance) because one, like Dorian Gray, wants to be “forever young” can be very dangerous. Testosterone and GH supplementation increase blood pressure, diabetes risk, cancer risk... Dejan (but also Daniel...) should have better stayed talking about what he knows and what he is good at, and not do ridiculous misinformation, even comparing steroids to magnesium...

Anecdotally. Some guys suffer severe depression until they get t injections. Many women use long term oral birth control pills for the sake of quality of life despite possible side effects. Isn't risk to benefit analysis a bit of an individual subjective judgement call?

@Eddy Val Bro-science detected, opinion rejected. Sell your snake oil somewhere else. The body will inevitably generate lower T with aging, supplements and workouts can't compensate that, unless you want people to believe I can equate a steroid cycle with pollen and squats, lol!

I agree it was ridiculus. Comparing TRT and GH to Vitamin D was very dull. Also, He mentioned age 35 (OK, it cab be 40, whatever)to be a point when TRT decrease for him would call for TRT.. extremely bad message and sad to see the that only size and strength at whatever method is what important (generally that is behind such a thinking imo)

Would you be able to elaborate on delaying breakfast to promote the bodies natural testosterone, I have spent a few hours now and can only find studies and information on the benefits of eating certain foods in the morning to increase testosterone. Nothing about how long the overnight test lasts after you wake and therefore how long should wait before eating. I personally wake up starving most days. I mean he right after goes on admitting he doesn't know anything about it in the first place... The lack of understanding about human health and what a testosterone therapy might do to you in the long run is a bit shocking to me.

Is training 4 days a week good for growing your muscles in calisthenics while on a bulk? Thats what I'm doing right now, I am a skinny guy bulking up using calisthenics for 4 days a week, and I need clarification because I see people who lift weights say 5 or six days a week is good, but I'm not sure if that applies to calisthenics.

Can someone help me? I don’t know if it’s better to train front levers in reps or timed holds. Right now with strict form my max is about 5 or so seconds maybe more before form gives way. I usually train front levers in reps and not holds. So for instance I’ll do eight reps held at the top for 2-3 seconds. I make sure to slowly go down and back up before holding at the top again. I just don’t know if I should do maybe 3 sets of max holds or if doing moderate time under tension for reps is better.

Calisthenic put much work with minimum results and greater injury compared to free weight training for example using barbbells or dumbbells or machines. Its all about training in a smart way, so u waste less time but with max result. Some exercise work more with specific muscle that u want to target or hit or grow some target more thanone muscles. Its about knowing ur own body really, what is missing and needs to upgrade, what shouldnt be trained too much, etc3.

I know how He looked with much less muscle mass, less edges and more fat! I saw him personally at the fibo! Genetics have nothing to do with gaining much more dry muscle mass in a short periodof time especially not if you already Training for like 20 years there is no chance🤣🤣. Genetics is an excuse Word for roid takers. Also his hair loss and mature looking since then are side effects! Do your research first before supporting a liar who's fake. @Another guy with a Mustache Shorter people can't put on more muscles than taller ones bro, if a 5'7 ft man and a 6'3 ft dude start working put the same time they will probably build muscle on a very similar level. Let's say both individuals build 26 lbs lean muscle mass in a year, the shorter dude will look more muscular because his body frame is smaller in general.
@coachdraz8866
@coachdraz8866 2 жыл бұрын
@Another guy with a Mustache I'm 175 and we have similar genetics very lean from the start. When I took drugs I was very lean, litteraly dry for competition at 78kg easyyyy and looked 90kg. Now when I'm full natty I barely hold 70kg because of my metabolisam. And also I'm talking about his muscle shape...fullness is on another lvl as was mine. Now my delts and chest are flat as f. That full belly shape can only be achieved with drugs because they give you those extra glicogen stores that you can't get natty for a white guy. Again look at Daniel. His delts are super lean but flat as f. Doesn't matter the height. Those are facts. Like it or not. The problem is that he lies and gives everyone fake expectations and that is bad. Don't kid yourself. Mby he's not on drugs at this moment but he took them. I'm not a hater I don't even follow this guy. I like Daniel for his knowlege about calisthenics and bodymovement. I'm just sick after 10yrs in this industry of people still not confessing about drug use. It's not bad at all if you're smart about it and want to become pro at your sport. Just stop lie about it, that's all. ✌🏻

@Itachi Uzumaki scientifically. You can gain more androgen receptors based off lifestyle and diet. Then if you have high natural testosterone production and a good hypertrophy exercise program. It could be possible to put on a lot of muscle mass. However this will require a lot of research on the endocrine system, nutrition, metabolism, etc. Most typical influencers don't know this stuff and aren't willing to learn it. It's rare to have a person willing to do the research and be consistent in exercise. Many people are also not willing to teach others as well. I used to but then I realized a lot of steroid users take what you teach them and use it to benefit themselves while being frauds. Liver king is one of them. He took what science is proving about low carb research and made a joke of it by being a fake natty and using peusdo ancestry lifestyle nonsense.
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Жыл бұрын
@Itachi Uzumaki exercising for appearances is definitly a feminine mindset. It's based on seduction. Real men workout for self performance improvements. Don't get it twisted. There's actual science proving health benefits for physical and mental well being. The military definitly realizes this. Hypertrophy has disadvantages if it is the main focus. Strength and endurance have much more practical use. It can be sustainable long term the more you learn about the mechanical. Unfortunately most will not and most will prioritize other things in their lives.
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Жыл бұрын
@Itachi Uzumaki Give me a example of a male lion wearing ornaments or enhancements in order to attract a lioness. I've never heard of such nonsense. The lioness recognizes the alpha lion based off his behavior from him and the pack. It's nothing about appearances. The idea that you as a man are even trying to seduce a women using appearances is feminine AF. Alpha's set the trend, the beta's copy the trend hoping the other gender mistakes them as the alpha. Notice the pattern? Guys who take steroids are not real men. They have a feminine mindset. That's exactly why they also are obsessed with dominance and submission. It's the feminine psychology towards sex. The alpha is a planner for the pack, when he selects his female, she has to be a good mother for the youth in health and personality. Your mindset is so flawed. Responsibility is the only requirement to be the alpha. It's not always easy or pleasant, but it is what must be done to be a leader. I don't think you understand since you likely have denial as you are born a man and want to believe you are women.
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech
@YTStopCensoringFreedomOfspeech Жыл бұрын
@Itachi Uzumaki Hormones are related to behavior. Higher testosterone is related to improved performance. The lion having a specific mane which lioness prefer is related to the lions testosterone level. So how does a lion or a man have higher testosterone than others? It's lifestyle. The lion is not injecting drugs to get it. The lion lives a lifestyle that gets him higher testosterone. This is affected by food, healthy habits, and most important of all responsibility. All of this leads to success, but don't forget it also came with mistakes. When you are a leader, you are responsible for the pack. The reason why a beta can never be a alpha is because the beta is selfish. He only thinks about himself. If the beta becomes the alpha, he destroys the pack. The pack will get destroyed by outside forces or rivals because a selfish leader does not have the ability for long term planning. This has happened in history for humans when a prince inherits the kings throne and is not a real alpha. A true alpha has conquered himself and others. He understands how much selfishness and empathy is needed to establish the leadership role. The rest have not figured it out, they become the betas and omegas. The beta is too selfish and will be a judas to the alpha. The omega is too empathetic and gets bullied. I believe gays like yourself have not figured out how to master yourself. You have instead accepted a delusion. Omega's and Beta's are the same. They project their insecurities on others and blame external sources for their failures. They refuse responsibility.

Not often you see someone use a strawman to bolster their own claims of honesty: Stipke: people say having a bicep vein is a sure fire sign of steroid use (which is obviously absurd and idiotic)...Therefore i'm clearly not on steroids?!? Respectfully that's disingenuous and mythically stupid. The steroid accusations are due to the fact you have added a significant amount of size/muscle mass later on in your training career and the shape you have - by comparison you make the host (who is a big guy with decent genetics and a lot of muscle mass) look like he barely lifts. The comments about "chicken and broccoli" and other comments about people simply not being willing to train hard enough/put in the work are also huge red flags - to the point where they have become memes. I'm not weighing in on whether you are/aren't natural, i couldn't care less but the way you handled these questions doesn't help your cause.

Wait wait, you said around 9:55 that higher reps cause you to be weaker in older age?? I'm hearing this the first time. Is it a thing? I heard something similar where someone would say I want to be strong in my old age too so... But I just wondered that's not in your hands. Please make a video about this. What things or ways of working out cause you to get weak or injured as you get older. I heard a counter argument. That higher reps with lower weight does good for joints for their conditioning. Whereas lifting very heavy causes you get weaker in older age. Idk something like that

Great inspiring and instructive stuff. I am however making a comment to disagree about a vein showing on the biceps being a sure sign of steroid use, Maybe true when you are young and steroids users have an unnatural level of vascularity, but as you grow older, I am 73 now, you start getting veins showing everywhere, hands , forearms, biceps , pectorals, legs etc... from mid 60s onwards in my case. Like you I was a gymnast when I was young and then I went on the do calisthenics throughout my life to keep core strength, although like you, I did not know the word till much later and I never took steroids, but my veins sure show everywhere now. It's not just me, look at very old men, they all have veins showing all over their hands and i guess they will have veins showing on their biceps too.

Your channel seems very professional and you give good information about training and flexibility. I'd be interested in how to get rid of a tendinitis (not sure if that's the correct english word). I injured my subscapularis tendon about 4 months ago and can't train pushing and pulling movements because the injury comes back if I put burden on it. Is there a way to train around such an injury? Anyways, keep up the great content PS: Sorry for the bad wording, I'm not a native english speaker

I don't understand the controversy around testosterone... as a woman we openly talk about estrogen replacement. As we age we know for sure some levels of a bunch of things go down and we NEED to supplement. Not to mention the potential loss of libido, which I think is a big deal. Refreshing to see people talking about it in an open informed and intelligent way.
