Ms Tammy, I'm a 61 y/o man and fellow native of Georgia. I've watched several of your cooking videos as they are always fun and make me smile(as well as hungry). Just watched this video about your battle with cancer, wearing wigs and making yourself happy. Want to say Great Going for doing what YOU like regarding your wigs. For years I was always concerned about what others thought. As I've aged, I do not care what people think of me! As long as what I do does not harm anyone else I'm going to do it. You do the same. Thank You for sharing your life's journey. I'm so glad you are found fine. My Mama had a radical mastectomy when I was 7 months old. I'm 73 now. Mama died from old age at 96. After her surgery, her cancer never came back.

My husband lost a kidney to kidney cancer 2 years ago and at the same time, our daughter was diagnosed with acute leukemia but, she lost her battle 8 months later. My faith in Christ was tested...but I've grown so much in the Lord from these fiery trials. Thanks for always being such an upbeat person and sharing your faith in Christ. We ordered a deep fryer and are going to make your delicious-looking recipe for fried onion rings!

I am 45 years old and 3 years cancer free. I totally agree with what you said about the Holy Spirit. My cancer story is on my channel as well and why I wear wigs. Being cancer survivors we definitely know that time is precious. And you never know when that day will be your last. So live life in wigs and have fun!

I was also diagnosed at 40 which was 5 years ago and I feel so blessed to be alive.🙏🏽My right Breast had to be removed and then I had another surgery to have al 18 of my lymph nodes removed. I opted not to have reconstruction. Sometimes I still consider having it done but I really want to go thru all those surgeries. I’m a new subbie. I think you are BEAUTIFUL w/ your wigs!! Hey it is so nice to have you on our channel. I am so glad you are doing well. It is a blessing to meet another survivor! The surgeries were rough, and if I had one good side, I probably wouldn't go through the trouble on my cancer side because it is so tight from radiation, they can never make it look even close to normal! I didn’t have cancer, but my youngest daughter was killed in an accident last January. I have found that I like to color just a bit of my hair pink in memory of my daughter. I’m in my 50s and I was scared to go out in public with pink hair. I have received a lot of positive comments. I love your channel! Especially since I learned it was a channel to teach your daughters. I love you!!! And I’m so happy for your recovery. Thanks for teaching us our Granny’s craft.

Oh wow! Tammy, I never knew you wore wigs. So there you go, stunning as always. I hear you when you say, “life is to short” I suffered from an auto immune disease that destroy my liver, through no fault of my own, I was listed for a transplant and 6 months later, received the most incredible gift I’ve ever had, a liver transplant. Made rutebaga for the first time tonight and whole family loves it! I thank God he brought you through to be here today. And I genuinely mean that! I have one of my dearest friends who lost her 2nd battle, but I remember her hair for so curly during remission. She loves having something different. She never did wigs, we had a hat party for her and she loved them. I really like your cute hair, but you know how precious each day is, and you fought your butt off to get here and if you want to cook greens in a polka dot tutu, I'm here with you! Congratulations on being a cancer survivor! How fortunate were you that bought that insurance! I am losing my hair due to menopause and stories like yours make me feel bad for whining about it. Thanks to Biotin and being on the back side of menopause, my hair is growing back. I enjoy your videos and we cook a lot of the same dishes. You and your wigs are very cute!
