Why I Went from Lonestar Grillz Large IVS to Hunsaker Drums

Moving from Lonestar Grillz IVS to Hunsaker Drums. Both are excellent by the way!

Funny, I am adding an IVS to go along w my Hunsaker :) Hunsaker just slays the dragon at ribs, hot and fast all the way. IVS will be my low and slow capacity machine

Loved the food that came off my Hunsaker but it was a pain to clean the grease off the bottom. Had the stainless one and ended up going back to an offset.

WELL I GOT THE SHIRLEY CHARGRILL AND LOANSTAR PELLET MAYBE I NEED ONE OF THESE TO COMPLETE MY COLLECTION

I have had pellet grills as well but love my Hunsaker more. LSG does make a good pellet though. Mine was a Yoder

@@CarnivoreKipp MY LOANSTAR IS GREAT FOR LONG COOKS WHEN I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO WATCH A FIRE IN THE SHIRLEY PATIO MODEL , AND I ALREADY HAD A FIREBOARD AND LOTS OF PROBES SO THAT WAS A PLUS ALSO

@@Jeeptj1300 I used to have a Lonestar 24*40 and it was well built. I still prefer my Shirley. I know what you mean with pellets. They take the work out of it. Hunsaker drums pretty much do the same as a pellet grill. I like the flavor off a drum a little better though

Where did you the shelves on the drums?

They are replacement shelves from Large size Kamado joes.

Hey Kory...talked to Mark at Hunsaker...im going to order the side shelves and have them shipped to Hunsaker...do you know were they the Classic shelves or the Big Joe as thats whats listed when you order from Kamado Joe...your barrels look amazing
