Speaking of your trans content and you saying you wanted to do this because you didn't see people your age transitioning on youtube: I found you specifically because of this. I'm relatively young (discovered I was trans at 23, I'm approaching 30 now) but what your channel gave me was, it showed me that I as a trans person have a future. And to see that was very important for me. So thank you for sharing that! Now with M.E./CFS being (frankly very understandably) your main focus, I feel like I am learning a ton about a condition I didn't know before. And it turns out the mother of a good friend has M.E. and was amazed when I knew what it was. And it allowed me to understand her, which is also thanks to you. You're an amazing educator, no matter which topic you tackle. And you not putting out as much content as before or as varied as before (again, very understandably) doesn't make what you put out less valuable. It just means you're taking care of yourself and that is an achievement in and of itself. Take care!

Oh bloody hell that got me right in the feels! This just makes all the crap of being a visible trans person, so very worthwhile! I love ALL of you, dear Finn. You are amazing. I have had depression all my life and was recently diagnosed bipolar for the third time. I appreciate everything you discuss. I didn't want to be honest about my mental health for many reasons but foremost I was afraid it would somehow interfere with my transition and gate keepers. Mushroom farming is healing me. It is the most wonderful therapy. I know it's perhaps particular to me, but I feel so happy and connected as I work with the rhythm of the mushrooms. I do the next right thing for them and we are connected. We should all feel free to talk about our lives. How we are. What helps us. Keep doing you, my friend. I know you will. I'm not going anywhere. LOVE

Oh my friend that makes me all warm and fuzzy! Thank you. Im sorry to hear of what you are going through, and I completely understand your worries about being open. Most gender specialists do understand, and even expect MH challenges to be present in trans folks and it shouldnt hold anything back, if anything its a reason to help people transition, so that MH is improved. But, the fear is valis as MH is still so misunderstood, especially when it crosses over with a trans identity. I absolutely LOVE your mushroom self care! Ive been ding something similar with houseplants. Taking care of them, noticing their nees, the payback of glorious growth, its a wonderful rythum and connection that soothes the soul! I don‘t comment usually, but I still watch & enjoy your videos. :-). The trans education videos were great, thanks for those. But I did enjoy your virtual walking shorts a lot after a stressful work day haha They were my little guilty pleasure. I was very interested in the ME/CFS videos, because it sounded so similar to the chronic fatigue syndrom some young people experience after a covid infection. I often wondered, how can one manage living with only a few productive hours a day? Seeing how you searched for answers and solutions was amazing. Thanks a lot for sharing. I hope now that you got a diagnosis things will somehow improve. It must be a challenge not just for your youtube career, but also managing a relationship around it. Wishing you two all the best!

Thank you for commenting! This feedback is honestly gold to me.im so glad you enjoy all my content! The shorts are still happening, I'm just a little behind with them but I have a few that'll likely go up the end of this week. I love that they are your guilty pleasure! And yes long COVID is very similar to ME/CFS. It is a challenge every single day to manage limited energy. You don't realise how much you do each day until you no longer have unlimited energy! I plan to speak more about this because I think it's often misunderstood. It's everything, mental and physical energy, from getting out of bed, making breakfast, answering a text message this all adds up fast! I often have to weigh up whether to shower or whether to eat. It's madness but gradually im getting the hang of this....mostly! And yes support from specialists will definitely help! I'm very lucky to have Chris and for him to be so understanding. Even when l get grumpy about living with Fred! Thank you so much for your kindness! 💜🙏

I appreciate that so much. I've been so overwhelmed with the comments I've received on this video. I really am such a people pleaser, such a perfectionist, and here I am again being reassured that l don't need to have all these worries! I really need to do a lot more work on this, so that l am able to ' care less' but in a good way, if that makes sense?! I want to spend my energy on KZbin, as it is something l enjoy. I love making videos, l love these interactions in the comments. But, l don't have the energy to make 'perfect' videos, ever green content etc....I just want to make videos on topics I want to talk about, not because it makes business sense, but just for me. So, bearing so many people say, just make whatever you want Finn, really helps because that takes much less energy! Did that make sense?! Thank you for always being here xxx

@@FinnTheInfinncible yes, I hear what you're saying and it makes total sense. The reason you were inspired to create a channel in the first place was for connection to yourself and others, and to document your growth as a person and your evolution. You've resolved alot of your inner turmoil that dysphoria produced, by seeking medical intervention to help heal. And now it makes sense to create freedom to experience you and have fun. You've left a trail of really good quality videos and resources, that you put your heart into, on trans mountain for others to learn from, identify with, and help heal by seeing what you've gone through and come out the other side as a person who is at peace from dysphoria for the most part, in a good balance. It makes sense to make this video though, to address the question that some people have been asking you. It's good of you to let people know where you're at and that you've communicated it to your audience and your subscribers. I hope you are doing ok xx

Hey friend! I’ve struggled with fatigue for a while now but I can’t imagine what you’re going through😭🤗 I haven’t seen all your videos but I’ve seen a lot, and it’s been fun getting to know you. Oh my friend, may I leap through the screen and give you a massive hug because this comment is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for your kind words. Dealing with fatigue of any level is awful. People really need to realise that fatigue is very very very different to tiredness, it takes over your entire body doesnt it? Im sorry you are struggling with it too. My volcanoes have been a lot! I love that you call them that! Pre recovery and pre transition, I used them as an excuse to self destruct, drink, take drugs etc. When I finally managed to get sober, and then transition, and discovered this new beutiful life, I felt so blessed to have found my way out of darkness that all I wanted to do was tell everyone! Now, I see all these volcanoes as a gift because I get to help others find their way too. Welcome to the FinnFam my friend!

I have more than one thing going on with me, and it's helpful to not feel alone. I love that lyric, very apt! Life is suffering, as the wise Buddha said, but then that's what makes us appreciate the good stuff. Without darkness, there can be no light. I think it's up to us to find meaning, and when we do, even the shit can shimmer! I am struggling a lot with this illness, but I am also finding joy in it. In sitting still and just watching the world, in feeling almost cocooned and protected when the fatigue paralyzes me, in just surrendering and leaving stuff undone! Thank you for your kindness my dear dear friend and for following through it all! Life is multi-faceted, and I think this is why my content appeals to many, I don't share about being trans in a vacuum, I share my life around being trans, I am more than one thing! Love to you!
