one of the last games I played before I decided to just delete the game involved me playing as tank where the enemy team ran a sigma, mei, ana, cassidy, and mercy and it was probably one of the least fun experiences I've had in a game recently. Call me bad all you want to but you cant tell me that getting cc'd every 4 seconds is fun

Played since day 1 2016 and haven’t really played for a year and a half now… I’ve played various heroes and fell in love with Ramattra as he was such a cool concept character but tank is a miserable experience and unfun currently waiting for Marvel Rivals as I had so much fun in that game. I will miss Ramattra, Reinhardt, Reaper, and Ana

I miss rein Zarya or rein dva so much. Overwatch was really fun early on but putting that much pressure on the tank was a bad idea. I'm ready for open queue marvel rivals so I can run goats comp for the 1 time 😂

I wasn't playing during that time i came back when my friend told me you don't need the battlepass to get characters anymore so I think ventures update. I don't know why people would say that though. Prices rarely ever go down. If that happens i gotta be playing an indie game 🤣

MR has like four Doomfist characters plus more mele characters. Tank is just asz in a 5v5 format, I’m just done with OW. It’s been a nightmare but a fun one, like a dream of a zombie apocalypse. Nvm just a nightmare

I did have a decent amount of fun but I'm ready for this. I've always like 3rd person shooters more but nothing was fun and balanced for me since gears 3. This is the game to get me back into the genre. Hope you enjoy it too!

The main problem with Overwatch was removing tank synergies. Every role gets 2. Everyone gets a partner in crime. Why not tanks?

Cause the balance team sucks. They don't know how to nerf a character without completely nuking them so they change gameplay as a whole. Brig caused role queue and she was still good 😂

@@RealTrueKingsDen It's weird my favorite version of comp was no limits when they brought it back and put it in the arcade towards the end of Overwatch 1. But I think 2/2/2 was good for the game because it sucked getting games where no one wanted to play support. Competitive no limits was pretty fun towards the end though. It was around the Hog/Zarya meta.

The 5v5 experiment shouldn’t have lasted longer than 6 months. Classic showed me it wasn’t just nostalgia. The game is broken. 5v5, role passives, super tanks, healing/moblility creep, immos, bloated new hero design, etc. The list goes on and on with the problems this game has

There's a few things I hope they take from overwatch. The main one is out of combat healing. That'd be so good for the high mobility characters and just a quality change overall.

I dont think anyone needs a reason to, marvel is just the more balanced game out of the 2, and their character design is just healthier for the game, look how problematic widow has been for so long while marvel just fixed it with black widow(an even better example is hawk eye) but i think overwatch has been getting a bit better with hero designs from venture on, but their decision to bring 6v6 with the release of marvel was really dumb, because ofc people will choose the newer game.

If you mean the sexually suggestive characters I'm not really for or against it. I just want characters to be hot or cool. Venture has a great design and Juno is hot. The 6v6 thing I definitely agree with. This is my last day with overwatch for a while or maybe for good. If 6v6 truly returns it literally defeats the purpose for ow2 existence 🤣

OHHH Yeah balance wise I get you. If the characters not hit they have to be meta to sell skins. There's a video that proved it by TDO baron. The my hero academia collab. That collab had popular characters only. They forced kiriko in instead of doomfist, Juno fit well so that's okay, tracer. Reinhardt and reaper. Rammatra fits so much better as all might but he's not as popular. Kiriko is kiriko and reaper is reaper. If your not hot, badass, or meta good luck getting a skin Sadly. I'm excited to see if rivals characters are truly more balanced. Hope you enjoy your time on marvel!

I liked the game the first year or so. Then OW2's balancing went absolutely out the window. I loved playing Tanks...but I just hate how they've managed it. It's past redemption in 5v5 for me. The "tanks" in Marvel Rivals are awesome and have sweet kits. They will be more fun for me to play. In fact all the characters in Marvel Rivals have better kits. Furthermore, I get to see my skins I buy in Marvel Rivals. Oh, and Marvel Rivals will show data on all their heroes publicly. So I'm pretty sold on moving over Marvel Rivals entirely and permanently.

Yeah I stopped playing it because it's not fun anymore. I mained support. Now it's just frustrating. I used to tank sometimes, now I refuse. Im already suffering not tanking I'm not going to triple my suffering. I play like 3 DPS characters. There's just no fun in it anymore. Meanwhile Rivals is fun, I have characters I enjoy in every role, more I want to learn, whereas I dont actually want to play any of the characters I don't play in OW lol.

I think another thing I started to notice was how frustrating it was, yeah easily tilted, but then after the game I'd look at the stats and go "oh, actually that was a good, close game"... didn't feel like it at the time xD

I've turned off all communication as a resort. I play open role pool and i get tank 95 percent of the time. Miserable experience and yes, you're always blamed. I can't wait to leave for Marvel Rivals....

Day 1 OW player and i left it back in Feb 2019 when Apex came out lol. Played a handful of matches when OW2 dropped, but just felt the game wasnt fun anymore and randoms in the game for ranked were hit or miss. Hopefully Rivals doesnt feel like an exact copy of OW.

There’s just no reason to play Overwatch anymore. I don’t feel appreciated as a long time fan or player. My time was wasted with broken promises, greedy monetization, and rarely new content. I hope Rivals doesn’t take there players for granted.

The main problem is not all characters are viable. Each season a certain few dominate and you cant even play quick play as everyone insta switches Just a shell of a game it used to be Counter swapping was the final nail in the coffin for me. Characters shouldnt be designed to counter, they should be able to hold their own otherwise whats the point of a 40 man roster

I'm actually okay with characters not being viable cause that can happen in any game but for me I think the biggest issue is the characters that dominate are really annoying. When rein is meta no one is angry. But when widow, Sombra, or hog are meta it's never fun. Characters like torn are almost never meta so they literally killed the unique scrap collecting and turret building to make him better but he's still bad which means they killed his worse but more creative playstyle for nothing 😂 I can't say anything about QuickPlay. There's no reason for it to be sweatier than ranked.

Counter swapping has always been a part of Overwatch since day 1. The issue is solo tank raid bosses gave swapping too much value. 5v5 is the issue, not swapping.

Id argue support is the strongest as a support main we can counter so much with our abilities. Anti nade, immortality, suzu, life grip, sound barrier, rez etc. There's times tanks are super OP and the strongest by far but I think most of ow2 it's been support with tanks right behind

Ow2 was a failed sequel from top to bottom. Lack of content and new characters. 5v5 is a horrible choice; tanks were mega buffed to the point where if you arent a tank or a support just heal botting then you are just a spectator.

Literally, same.i have been taking long ass breaks only playing with friends. Game ass. Cant stand widowmaker, sombra, mauga, venture, orisa. In that order. Idk how good marvel rivals will be but at least their qp isnt going to be harder to win than comp in marvel rivals. Endless, they changed it from beta. Lastly this game has become too geared toward sex appeal instead of cool skins. Juno kinda shows that they are grabbing at straws to make a quick buck.
