I watched an interview with a PGA tourney orgainzer. He said when Tiger is scheduled to appear, you need 150 more toilets, 20K more parking spaces, 40% more sandwiches, snacks and drinks, much more swag in the shops, at least 50 more volunteers.... the mere effect that TW has on any tourney is phenomenal. No one ever, has had the effect on the golf world that Tiger does. I hope like hell he stays healthy and gives us several more years... and I got money that says he WILL breaks jacks record before its all said and done.

I sure hope he catches Jack. I think he’ll pass Sam next year. Got a lot of major venues coming up the next few years that he’s had great memories at. Watching him play like this is making me feel like a 15 year old junior again!

One of the best videos I’ve seen from TXG. Equipment fanatics should try to find an old book by David Graham, the great Aussie player, who was/is extremely knowledgeable about golf clubs. He talks about getting to know Jack Nicklaus, spending time at his home and being stunned by Jack’s lack of interest in clubs. Not dis-interest exactly, but a ho- hum approach to things. Mind you, times have clearly changed! Thank you for a fascinating look behind the scenes.

12:40 The reason Tiger hit so many fairways. Mid 170s ballspeed....He wasnt concerned keeping up with McIlroy at mid 180s. And His blade was hot....29:08 excellent point....I have seen a lot of players play the flop with spin in the practice area..... Tiger does it during the round!

Conspiracy Theory - The best possible marketing tool would be Tiger having a bag pretty full of TM clubs and "not be under contract". Would sell more TM gear that way than him having TM emblazoned on his bag.

Likely was able to adjust for it through weights in the head, Tiger never played a counterbalanced shaft until the Tensei white so it was a brief period relative to shafts he's played in the past.

Watching old you tube majors I can't help but be impressed with the driving. Old Tiger hit drives that would run and run and run. Should small headed drivers come back for tour pro's. Increase club head speed. They don't need 460cc. Faldo and Norman had low moi drivers (200 - 250cc??) and the 1996 masters driving was great to watch. Tiger in 1997 driving was insane.

You will never get an exact copy, but you could get a Newport 2 Timeless in GSS, with the vertical stamping on the front, I would say depending on other stamping, etc. $8,000USD to $10,000USD maybe a little more little less....
